is anyone gonna answer my question at the top of the page?
Your question is a little vague.
When you download it it should download to your downloads folder. Go to that folder and there should be a folder called "Millénaire 1.0.2.b" . In that folder there are 3 files and 2 folders.
File 1 == "Beginner's Guide.pdf" A useful document with everything needed to get started.
File 2 == Positions in minecraft directory.png" A picture of where everything should go in the minecraft folder.
Folder 1 == "Put in minecraft folder" In here is the basis for the Millénaire mod.
Folder 2== "Put in mods folder" In here are all of the blocks/NPCs/items.
File 3 == "ReadMe.txt" A readme that explains all of this :U
[br]
You can ignore all of the files for now. I'm going to explain what they explain. Okay, now minimize the Millénaire folder and follow these instructions:
For Windows users == Navigate to the following directory "C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\"
For Mac OS X users == Navigate to "HD/Users/[User Name]/Library/minecraft"
Now while that window is open bring up your Millénaire window once again. In the Millénaire folder open up the "Put in minecraft folder" folder. Drap and drop the contents of this folder into the other window.
Now, in the minecraft window look for a folder called "mods" if it isn't there then create it and open it. Then go back to the Millénaire folder and open up the "Put in mods folder" folder and drag and drop the contents of this folder into the other window.
Now you're all done. Close those windows and open up Minecraft.

And, when I update and I want to keep my current village, can I just replace everything? Or is there a village file somewhere? I have looked and so far I haven't found it.
How can i make mud and cooked bricks for hindu village?
Also, compatible with IndustrialCraft, but crashes on launch, if has NanoSuit enabled.
Actually, last time I checked, the two worked fine together. At least, back in .9. Not sure if Kinn changed more classes, or something.
Or it's possibly an item ID conflict. Do you know the all the ID's for the Nano suits?
Edit: The ID's are about 20k apart. Scratch what I said.
Another Edit: Scratch this whole thing. I checked and they are entirely compatible. Either an install error on your end or you have more mods that could cause the conflict.
I think your village will be fine, the only time they have had trouble was between 0.9 and 1.0 so far as I have seen.
My last save I had to go about 1500m to find another village. Not sure if that is typical or not.
It doesnt start trying to make a new one until after you are 800m away from your original village/villages. If you are in unsuitable terrain when you pass 800, it can take even longer for one to generate. I had an experience close that at first myself, i climbed a mountain looking for new villages.... since i was in the middle of mountains and cliffs and such, i didnt find anything :smile.gif:)
On the note of lag, this new update is great, after all the work tweaking every other possible thing to speed my minecraft up, now that the lag is gone, my game is running awesome.
Suggestion: make both cultures just speak english because no one really cares about the language and at least 60% of minecrafters are american. I myself am english but still, it should be english really bro.
I am English myself and would prefer no english at all.
How can i set the priority of a carpenters house for a military village? I'm on 1.0.1 but because of the Carpenters house being a secondary building the people first want to upgrade e.g. armoury and therefore need timber frames but cannot get it.
Decompile and do it yourself? Other than that, nope.
I don't know if this has already been asked before, but is there a quicker way to get 216 cooked bricks besides smelting mud bricks? I will if I need to though.
EDIT: Nevermind. I see that they smelt most of the mud bricks automatically.
EDIT EDIT: Just found out that they have 3 furnaces in the right wing of the chiefs house.

He already said on his wiki how he is NOT going to make an all english version. He would have to rewrite a lot if not all of it. Stop bugging him about it and deal with it.
BESIDES enough of it is in english that you should be able to understand it well enough. If no, then that's your problem.
not sure if this has happen to anyone else but i was in the new Indian village n they had just planted the sugar cane little area. then all hell broke lose. i started lagging hard core n didn't know why so i went over to the sugar cane and there were hundreds of them all in that little area n i had no idea why. but then i saw that the water had froze over. so apparently if the water is frozen they just keep planting cause the can pops right up with no water i guess. so i broke the ice n its working ok so far. or until it all freezes over again. also on a side not the Indian village signs for new construction plots don't have any writing. other than that i love the new update. i was having withdrawals there for that month or so haha
resolved: i put a torch in the 3 corners of the plot where they dont plant so that prevents the ice from forming.

Lagspikes are definitely significantly better in this version. I still get them, but it only stops the screen for a split second before I can move again, as opposed to the 1-2 second spikes I was getting before. It's actually playable now, which is good, because it's a fun mod.
I just installed FiniteLiquids mod and tried out a new world. A Hindi village spawned half under water! I had to swim out to one of the roofs and I can hear the npc's inside dying over and over.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I assume the village generation is not recognizing the Finite water blocks as "no build" areas.

Go into your millenaire folder, and go into "config" Go to forbidden blocks, and put in the 3 ids for water, the 2 for lava, and the 2 for quicksand

Thanks, I sure hope that isn't typical. Thats a really long way away.

No, actually. You can use a village wand and summon a village where you want it.
Or travel to a flatter area, and it chances a spawn there.
