Put that jar in your bin folder then start up minecraft and it will be in 1.2.5

Has anyone made or talked about making a content pack adding "mechs" or "exo-suits" with Flan's mod? I'm not thinking about giant mechwarrior style machines, but something more along the size of the exosuits in Natural Selection 2 or the MAX armors from Planetside 2. The idea would be to have a few chassis of varying strength, and to have weapon options that included actual weapons and also mining tools. Compatibility with IndustrialCraft2 electricity would be awesome.

Dude seriously get a wooden pick axe and mine some manners being 13yo is no excuse for a demand of a modder or a team of modders to 'hurry up' these people use their spare time to make these mods for nothing. Show some respect and patience as these people have lives and more important things to do than do your beck and whim.
We need more information than just this im sorry. What mods exactly do you have installed? how did you install them and in what order? have you deleted the meta-inf folder from minecraft.jar or do you use another program to use mods (I.E. MagicLauncher) ?
anything like this kind of info or even a crash report if there is one will help us help you
just a question, will you or will not update to sustain a forge api so players will not have to download or downgrade their minecraft systems???

a MAX requires very sophisticated animation, that is simply not possible with minecraft. note how none of the vehicles have moving parts, this is because it is rather hard to do. while making a Ps2 pack would be cool, it wouldn't accomplish much. to have a proper battle you need more people than a single server can take without crashing.
If you don't care about ps2 and just want an exosuit, i think you're out of luck. while there are many people suggesting things like what you are wanting all over mcforums, either they have recruited no modders or they are still in the WIP section.

I wasn't imagining an actual MAX armor suit, I was just providing that as a reference for the size of mech/exo I was thinking of. I suppose the only moving parts that would be needed would be legs. Moving arms wouldn't be needed because the weapons would just mount on the side of the chassis (you could just have some generic 'weapon pod' thing on each side and whatever weapon was on the exo would fire from inside it. I'm imagining something simple, probably 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks tall. I would basically be a metal box on legs, with a clear front for the cockpit, and maybe be modeled to have some antennae on top and a jetpack on the back. I imagine it looking slick and techy, but a steampunk version would also be cool.
I'm curious about how complex the coding is for making a content pack for Flan's. I have some minor coding experience and have been able to do some script work in other games by reverse-engineering the work of others (when it was well written and well-commented). Is making new vehicle content for Flan's mostly changing numbers for size, speed, toughness, etc., or does it generally involve writing brand new code?

Just a question, why doesn't Flan upload a beta version of the mod and fix bugs latter if all they're doing now is fixing bugs. Not to pressure but, I'm almost to the point of punching my monitor.
