I finally got to the mob spawning part of my map and something is really bugging me. One thing, is there any way to make mobs drop specific items? Not just keys, boss keys, and heart containers? And another thing how do you make several different mobs spawn at once? All I could figure out how to do is make them spawn one at a time right after the last died.
Here this is the exact script you would need, the page also explains when and where to implement the scripts.
I'm a total newbie to Adventurecraft, and I have the basics down. The one thing I'm confused with is how to stop cutscenes from replaying. What I mean is how would I stop the triggers from.. retriggering.. I'm not finding memory blocks to be useful. :*/
Thanks if you can help. :smile.gif:
EDIT: How can I make any trigger trigger only once?

One thing I did was download the zelda map, replaced the terrain file in the zelda folder with a copy of the default terrain file so it would show the blocks he uses i.e triggers, memory etc etc. That gave me a good working platform as to how things worked like the memory blocks attached to prevent cutscenes playing over and over each time you cross over the trigger.
I cant remember off hand but I think its something like attach the memory to the trigger and the camera block to the trigger and set the memory timer to max so it wont play again immediately. I think it works so the trigger is only active according to the time you set in the memory block attached to it.
Not sure if youre replying to me but I will try to be a little more precise, and this is just how I figured some things out I found confusing as a first timer.
Download the zelda map and if you go to play it and hit F4 to go into the debug mode you will see the lines but not the actual blocks ( I assume because he didnt really need them in the pack once the game was ready to go live ).
1) Exit the game and go into your adventurecraft folder and right click the ACBin file and open with winrar or whatever unzipping program you have.
2) Scroll down and extract terrain2.png somewhere like a new folder on your desktop for example
3) Go into that new folder and copy that terrain2.png file (Ctrl-C on windows)
4) Go back into your adventurecraft folder/maps/zelda folder and paste (ctrl-V on windows) that terrain2.png file replacing the file in the zelda folder.
5) Open adventurecraft and go to play zelda and hit F4 to go into debug mode and you should now be able to see all the blocks he uses
This gave me an excellent working base as to how he used the blocks...its probably the long version so apologies if isnt the best way but it worked for me =))
Is it just me or does it seem like Adventure Craft map makers are a dying breed in the entire time i have been using it i havent seen any other map maker's work posted on this forum

Does anyone know how to generate a map in adventurecraft using a seed that will be the same as that map generated in normal minecraft.
I have a seed from 1.7.3 normal minecraft that I want to use in adventurecraft but it doesn't seem to generate the same seed (I have a very large map of the seed to compare it to). Is there a certain set of options to use with the generator that will generate seeds the same as normal minercaft 1.7.3?
What I do is just start the map in vanilla MC then copy the folder over into ACs maps folder, as the seed never seems to work.
Yea but then it wont generate new chunks in adventurecraft once you get to the areas that you didn't explore in vanilla minecraft.
EDIT: can anyone tell me what is wrong with this code?
It keeps saying "Cannot find function getQuantity in object -1"
But I don't know what it means.
MoneyAmount = pinv.getSlotContainingItem(1001).getQuantity() //1001 is the id of my gold coins
if (MoneyAmount >= 5) {
chat.print("You have enough money!")
}

The same to me, some guy suggested to me to reinstall Java, but when I did, it did the same thing. :sad.gif:
