I dragged all of the files in the .rar download into my .minecraft jar except the .txt file. All my other mods are working (Optifine etc.) just nort Timber! I am aware there is a toggle key (used to be v/x), but I tried all the keys and none seem to be the toggle switch. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
All you Modloader foks should really change over to Forge Modloader it's works so much better then Modloader.. and I haven't had any problems with any mods.. I installed Forge(Ran the game once so FML could do it's thing) then just drag and drop mods into the mod folder.. and everything works great.. With forge ML .800 timber works without an issue..
Have any of you thought of changing over to Forge?

No, no no no no NO. Forge is sh***. Nothing is less stable than Forge and optifine. I would rather play vanilla than use Forge. Back in the beta all best mods were on ModLoader. Now hipsters come in and don't want to use ML instead of Forge.

Can't tell if "Foks" is a typo of "Folks" or something more vulgar...
i think timber mod is pretty cool mod.
just one thing is feels like too cheap xD
like u will never need a diamond axe again.
so if possible, add something like when chopping down trees the durability of axe goes down as same amount as you would chop down the tree without timber mod.
and if it exceed the duration too much, it will explore or something that damages the player (or make it configurable :D)
this is just an idea thnx nice mod again
I can't get this to work with Forge Loader (the 1.6.2 version). I do not have a mods folder either, so what am I suppose to do?
Download a fresh version of Minecraft then download the installer (not the universal) for Forge. Click on the Forge installer jar file, and Forge will install itself. On the new Minecraft launcher, in the bottom left corner, change the profile to forge. You don't put Forge in the Minecraft jar file anymore. You can also change Forge versions this way.
You need to install it in the jar file
(not trying to not support you)
Check out my Mod Showcase here, thanks!
thanks
