No, it's not implemented, and it will be hard to without the source code from that mod. I also have other priorities right now.

The config file works just fine, too.
I'd comment about finding heart containers in chests, but the only place I've found one is a nether fortress...I've not been able to find ANY other dungeons, shafts, etc lately. Bad luck.
I'll probably go make a Mystcraft age with a crazy amount of dungeons and such, and see about it then.
I went back and did as I said I would a couple posts back, and I've found at least 3-4 heart pieces or a full container in EVERY loot chest I've run across. Including blacksmith's chests in villages.
But yeah, my experience with the new (Forge) version is that everything's working just great now. Excellent work, and well worth the wait.
(No, not going to mention 1.4.5. Still enjoying my 1.4.2 world. Not in a rush.)
I can't wait for the mod to update to 1.4.6! (I will still be using ModLoader version)

Which I need to look into, but if it works as intended, it will definitely help me clean up my code (I had my own way of keeping data after respawn- that's why your hearts are kept!)

Hmm, I haven't really found out the formulas forge uses (borrowed from the minecraft's weighted random chest item selector) so I may have made it too easy. Anyways, this version I have dropped rates overall, in hopes it is more balanced. (of course, these changes only take place in newly generated areas). And thanks! Also, 1.4.5 is out!
I'm sorry, but based on the polls I have decided to make only a forge version for sakes of efficiency.
When It was 1.2.5, I completely enhanced lucks's edge by adding in MANY new features (this was when 1.3.2 just came out). I thought it would be easy porting 1.2.5->1.3.2, but I came up with many bugs (this is the version shift that integrated the server). These new features havn't seen the light of day yet, but I will be teasing them as I get closer to finishing it.
I have been working on it periodically, and I have fixed bugs concern one of the awesome new effects, but there are still some aspects of it I need to fix. It basically is like a full rewrite, or nearly so. That, and the fact that I am pretty busy it is hard for me to maintain both mods. More health has gotten priority for me because it's been downloaded more and it didn't have bugs I got stuck on for long periods of time.
Finally, I want to make a video showcasing all the new changes in luck's edge, and all of this is very time consuming so I have been putting it off so I could complete more health instead.
Well, if you want, I could bug test it for ya, I do it for fullmetal alchemist mod, so luck's edge shouldn't be too difficult

Revision 2: consolidated texture folder into the other "morehealth" folder.
Guys, I have quickly patched the download today. Basically I deleted most of the remaining modloader code I used (creating the heart item textures) by changing to Forge's way of loading textures, so that part should work on both client and server (rather than crashing the server). I still use some modloader code to update a client side variable from the server side one, which may be the problem with it not working with SMP.
The updated file uses the same download link, so just download it again.
The textures are called from a file, you can change some of the heart item textures, look for more info in the config file.
Sorry, the problem is I know what the bugs are and can replicate it, it's just I haven't found a way to fix them yet.
I still have some kinks to fix before it works on SMP.
I fixed that error you have gotten by switching form the modloader code I was using to forge's code. So it at least should fix heart item textures on servers. Can you try to see if the mod works on servers with this fix? There a few other kinks I may need to fix though.

Ahh, so it's down to the last thing I use mod loader for. This fix will take awhile, I'm not sure yet how to fix it. Basically, health is being updated on both server side and client side, and I need to find a way to link my variables that keep track of your hearts on the server side to the client side without using modloader (that gets the "client player")
If not, it looks like you're going to be learning about sending packets and possibly writing data files. I know Portalgun does both, as does Thaumcraft to save the research. It's definitely possible! Probably takes some work though.
If you ever feel like being snazzy, I bet your class modifications could be done as a coremod instead of a JAR mod. It'd make it easier for people to install (not that it's hard now) and more compatible with other mods. Currently NEI and Treecapitator are the only coremods I know of.
