I was wondering if someone could help me with an issue or if anyone else is also having the same problem.
Using this mod, I am unable to simplify commands by using things like the item name. For example, I cannot use '/give TNT' instead I must use the standard '/give 55'.
As an extension, I'm not sure if this isn't a feature or if it stems from the same problem as above but I cannot do '/gm c', I must either type out creative or use 1/0 to change gamemode.
Thanks for the help in advance!
/give is broken for me too. Was gonna post about this.
So I have an issue. Never really had a problem installing mods before. Use to do it manually rather than use a program and any errors I got I was able to fix. Now with 1.6.2 I can't install any jar mods with forge. It just won't run and If I do the jvm argument override thing then it gets to the mojang screen, goes not responding and hangs there. I've tried using magic launcher and I get the same problem. I've always run SPC and forge together. Can anybody help me figure out what's going on?

Client> 2013-08-30 04:08:35 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Technical information: The class net.minecraft.client.ClientBrandRetriever should have been associated with the minecraft jar file, and should have returned us a valid, intact minecraft jar location. This did not work. Either you have modified the minecraft jar file (if so run the forge installer again), or you are using a base editing jar that is changing this class (and likely others too). If you REALLY want to run minecraft in this configuration, add the flag -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true to the 'JVM settings' in your launcher profile.

If this helps, here's the forge log: http://pastebin.com/bWiMa4gG
It was too big to put in spoiler and code tags.
So I have an issue. Never really had a problem installing mods before. Use to do it manually rather than use a program and any errors I got I was able to fix. If a PC and you follow this it will work. Deviate in any way, use any except the vanilla launcher and you're on your own!
Manual SPC Installation instruction: http://www.mediafire...stallation.pdf
Im Having The Same Problem Except The Bin Thing Doesnt Work, Ive Done It About 10 Times Now.
Is it a Windows PC?
Did you change the normal installation path?
If you answer yes and no respectively this works for all but 2 users. Are you one of them?
Create a \bin Folder - This was done on a Vista; other operating systems may differ slightly:
Click “Start”.
Type “Run” [Enter].
Type “%appdata%\.minecraft” [Enter].
Right click, choose “New”, choose “Folder”.
Name it bin.
Put the WorldEdit.jar in it.
Lou
If you are using ANY launcher/patcher other than the vanilla, creating the correct directory is not enough! YOU MUST put a copy of the WorldEdit.jar in the correct place!!!
Is there any way to use this with forge? I dearly love both In-Game NBTedit and Singleplayer commands but singleplayer commands doesn't seem to work with forge.

My XP, her Vista, and at least 1 Windows 7 all work with Forge. Try MY installation Instruction just above your post.
You will need to install it in the *.jar not add it to Forge with the Mod List! I don't know about NBT either.

For me it says: Worldedit.jar not found in .minecraft/bin - WE unavailble.
And yes I did add the WE.jar in the spc folder........pls help!!!!
READwhat YOU posted.
Where does it say it belongs?
Where did you put it?
Create a \bin Folder - This was done on a Vista; other operating systems may differ slightly:
Click “Start”.
Type “Run” [Enter].
Type “%appdata%\.minecraft” [Enter].
Right click, choose “New”, choose “Folder”.
Name it bin.
Put the WorldEdit.jar in it.
Lou
Did it work BEFORE you added all those other Mods?
You don't know, you didn't test. How much time did you save by NOT adding them one at a time and testing between?
One thing I suggest you add to your list ahead of SPC is a sound patch found quite a few pages back in Risu's thread (1.6.2[c]ModLoaderPatch.zip).
Follow these instructions and TEST between Mods (make a *.jar copy, just in case, between EACH Mod you add). These make sure you can open your new *.jar BEFORE you add SPC.

nvm installed Optifine before Modloader That's why it crashed
/give is broken for me too. Was gonna post about this.
EDIT: Here's my laucher console output
EDIT2:
If this helps, here's the forge log:
http://pastebin.com/bWiMa4gG
It was too big to put in spoiler and code tags.
If a PC and you follow this it will work. Deviate in any way, use any except the vanilla launcher and you're on your own!
Manual SPC Installation instruction:
http://www.mediafire...stallation.pdf
Is it a Windows PC?
Did you change the normal installation path?
If you answer yes and no respectively this works for all but 2 users. Are you one of them?
Create a \bin Folder - This was done on a Vista; other operating systems may differ slightly:
Click “Start”.
Type “Run” [Enter].

Lou
If you are using ANY launcher/patcher other than the vanilla, creating the correct directory is not enough! YOU MUST put a copy of the WorldEdit.jar in the correct place!!!

My XP, her Vista, and at least 1 Windows 7 all work with Forge. Try MY installation Instruction just above your post.
You will need to install it in the *.jar not add it to Forge with the Mod List! I don't know about NBT either.
If a Windows PC, READ the above and follow MY installation. If you do it will work! Adding it to Forge's Mod list won't!!!
