What version of minecraft are you using? That is not the 1.6.2 bin folder. Looks like you are using MC1.5.2 or lower, try using the right version of SPC/WE
Oh, I see the problem... I set my 1.6.2 settings, saves and etc. folder to a different one (and totally forgot about it ). That's the bin folder for my 1.5.2 version and not 1.6.2. Thanks for help!
I tried Swapping out the worldedit file, but to no avail. I can get METADATA with the brush command, but not with the 'give' command, I'm using the version on the first page of this forum.
Cheers
Belfastard
I'm using q3's. Give that a try. It's linked here. http://www.mediafire...nstallation.pdf
You'll need to move or copy the WE.jar
I haven't tried this version but I've lots of problems with wood, both logs and planks.
HTH
Lou
I just tried the OP version again with Magic. it worked for me (even wood) but, Magic isn't 100% trustworthy IMO. I'm not going to do it the hard way just to test. Please try q3's and let me know either way.
Is this supposed to work with Forge? I keep getting this and the launcher said it might be a good idea to give it to the mod developer:

can someone make a video how to install this on a mac?
I might, if I ever figure out why mine won't load any worlds. Everything to that last step seemed to work. The only thing I don't list is where this all is /Library(Go menu, hold option, underneath "home")/Application Support/minecraft
[spoiler] Steps:
1. Downloaded and unzipped SPC version 4.9 for MC 1.6.2
2. Backed up Forge Folder
3. Renamed version folder to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
4. Renamed .jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
5. Renamed .json to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.json
6. Text inside .json renamed to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
7. Changed 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
8. Unzipped 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
9. Deleted Mojang_C files in META-INF folder
10. Dragged all items except WorldEdit.jar into 1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder (clicked yes to replace all items, all .class items were replaced, no folders).
11. Selected all files in versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder and compressed to .zip file. (the Mac thing you have to do, otherwise it crashes on launch)
12. Moved Archive.zip file to versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder
13. Renamed Archive.zip to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
14. Deleted /1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder
15. Created /bin folder in /minecraft
16. Put WorldEdit.jar into /minecraft/bin folder
17. Ran vanilla launcher
18. Selected new profile with 1.6.2-ForgeSPC version
19. Added "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" (without quotes) into JVM arguments (crashed without it)
20. Launched Minecraft successfully
I might, if I ever figure out why mine won't load any worlds. Everything to that last step seemed to work. The only thing I don't list is where this all is /Library(Go menu, hold option, underneath "home")/Application Support/minecraft
1. Please try it without deleting META-INF.
Mac users delete the "Mojang_c"
2. Any folders must be combined not replaced or ignored.
Whatever you do if you get it working tell us all. I'm on a PC, I can only suggest.
Lou
Still no success on a Mac. I get a launch, "SPC" is listed as a mod in Forge (but "version 1.0") listed, but any attempt to load or create a world results in a hang on the world loading screen, both in vanilla and Forge.
1. Please try it without deleting META-INF.
Mac users delete the "Mojang_c"
Just making sure: I have three files in META-INF: MANIFEST.MF, MOJANGCS.RSA, and MOJANGCS.SF files, and I've been deleting both MOJANGCS, assuming they both fall under that category.
A sum up of the META-INF adventures on a Mac:
Deleting the two MOJANGC files gave me the result I've been getting - everything fine until "Loading World" (sometimes "Building Terrain"), but game hangs indefinitely (I left it on for an hour just for kicks).
Just for kicks, not deleting the META-INF file completely quits the launcher, and the game never launched. Deleting the entire META-INF folder, got a launch for the game, and the game quit during the "Loading World" screen after about a minute.
2. Any com folders must be combined not replaced or ignored.
I know all about dragging files from one com folder to the other com folder, because Macs replace the entire folder rather than the individual files IN the folder. I tested it on both vanilla and Forge, neither of which were equipped with a com in the version folder.
If I make a video of this if/when I have success, I'll be sure to include that little snippet about the com folder.
I can only draw on what I've seen in the past. I don't now nor have ever used a Mac.
I do know Forge hates it when you mess with the META-INF.
Again based on history, it should be Forge then SPC.
I've told you all I know.
Good Luck.
Lou
There IS a com folder inside #.#.#.jar. Also inside SPC.mod
Again based on history, it should be Forge then SPC.
Yes, I installed Forge first. Supposedly SPC works even without Forge. I get the same issue without Forge (Hanging on "Loading World" screen).
There IS a com folder inside #.#.#.jar. Also inside SPC.mod
I actually do not see a com folder in my vanilla 1.6.2.jar. Just to make sure, when I drag the com folder from SPC into the uncompressed .jar folder, there is no "replacing" dialogue. I don't know if that should be an issue or not.
Damn I hate it when I'm Wr... You are correct.
Lou
No version of SPC needs a ModLoader (maybe one or two of q3's early offerings). However, If Forge is added after SPC there is a large crash. To make my life easier I recommend adding a ModLoader ahead of SPC. 99.999% of players will want it eventually regardless.
Oh, I see the problem... I set my 1.6.2 settings, saves and etc. folder to a different one (and totally forgot about it ). That's the bin folder for my 1.5.2 version and not 1.6.2. Thanks for help!

would youtube work?
