Ya, I've been thinking about that for a bit, I just haven't put it in yet. I'll go ahead and officially add it to my To-Do list.
I hope it gets added soon. It is REALLY hard to tell how the layout of my book will look when all these added characters popping up.
I am also having a LOT of issues properly placing the books text where I want it. In Revised it looks fine. But in game its all jumbled with lines starting and stopping in wrong places.
Formating is also getting screwed.

Ya, Revise doesn't render things like Minecraft does. The prime reason for this is that it uses Swing, not OpenGL. However, I'll fix that soon and hopefully it'll all work. Sorry for the delay. I've just been a bit busy lately. Plus, it's a huge thing to change. I pretty much have to redo everything.

I hope it will be very soon. Trying to replace most of the 'maps' with books and that is a lot to work on trying to do it in game and not being able to go back and fix an error with out erasing -everything- before it.
Hey, someone should make a website where we can share all the books in ".mcbook" it would be awesome to have a place to share your in game stories and such. I know I would have like 1 finished and 3 W.I.P books posted.
If anyone did, it'd be amazing. However, I could if no one else will.
Edit: Well, I went ahead and started making it, but it may take a few days.
Update: Almost finished, another couple of days left. I'm trying my best to get it finished before school starts again, because then I'll have much less time to work on Revise.
Finally finished the site after a week. Uploading everything now. Here's the link. http://themclibrary.challengercity.com/
The next update will be a preview pane showing the book exactly as it will appear in Minecraft while you're editing the book and maybe a little page manipulation like inserting pages and moving them around. It may take a while, as school has started again and I have classes with a lot of homework. Sorry for the infrequent updates lately.
This is an invaluable tool, which I used to create a chest filled with 'Rule books' for my Capture the Wool map
Thanks so much. I will list you in the credits for the map once it's live. And I'll edit this post so as to include the link, so that you can see how valuable a tool it is you have made.
Congrats
i absolutely LOVE this program. It'll help me SO much with the big project I'm making, and I will give you credit when it is released in a long time. And, by the way, this thread should have 4,000 pages instead of 4.
I'll put it on my list of stuff to do this weekend.
Thank you very much. Would a screenshot help? The width is fine, but the interface is cut off halfway across the formatting buttons at the bottom. For example, I can only see a couple pixels of what I believe is the letter B for Bold. About half of the first lump of the letter.

I don't think a screenshot will be necessary unless this doesn't work for you. The previously linked version just allows you to resize the window without actually resizing the book, screen, textbox thingy.
Any progrss on getting this se up to format the same as minecraft shows?
Not yet, I've been too busy all week to get much done, but I have most of the weekend free. Plus it's a long weekend, so I plan to start working on the formatting within the hour.
When we paste a long text that's bigger than one page it shouldn't copy it all on one page. The text that is not fitting in one Minecraft page should on the next page. This way I can paste my own novels.txt on it!
And I keep telling you to add a ''Copy Everything'' to button to copy all the book

Simple fix for this. Under the edit menu, select the Smart Paster option. It does exactly that.

It's on my to-do list, but I have a lot scheduled for the next update. Anyway, the button wouldn't be hard to make. It might take me a total of 10 minutes, but I've already started working on the next version. So, I can't release until I've got all the bugs worked out of the other new features. But I promise you, it will be in the next update. Edit: Ok, I've added it in. It'll be there in the next update.
And while you wait, here's a work-around:
Save the book as a .mcbook
Open the .mcbook with a text-editor like notepad
Select all the text that begins with "Page∆"
Copy it into another window and find & replace "Page∆" with ""
I hope it gets added soon. It is REALLY hard to tell how the layout of my book will look when all these added characters popping up.

By the way, I HIGHLY recommend adding a rule to your site about keeping religious material OFF.
There is popping up a lot of 'bibles' and that may offend some people.
Oh wait! There is!
Me too! But it'll probably be another week. Tons of homework lately.
Glad to help.
Awesome! I can't wait to see it.
