Well that seems like one heck of a bug with multiMC or maybe ubuntu pastebin. I don't know. Anyways, pastebin unfortunately does not work right now, so please just do copy to clipboard and ctrl-v it here inside a spoiler.
this time i installed forge 7.7.1.653 and it fortunately didn't crash again.
maybe the versions prior to the one i installed this time didn't work.
well thanks anyway ^^

yeah, unstable versions make their way onto that list as well.
i got a crash when trying to load up an instance (as to play it):

Alright, everything is working fine, but i do see this message in the log when I launch an instance "[ForgeModLoader] Not using advanced OpenGL 4.3 advanced capability for animations : OpenGL 4.3 is not available", and I do have OpenGL 4.3 on my machine/video card... or is that saying that ForgeModLoader doesn't use it???
open the zip file of one of the packs that doesn't load and tell me if there is a textures folder inside.
Yes, there are textures in there. If I send the exact file to a friend, it runs without issue. Not a corrupt file, nothing in the texture pack is the obvious problem. it's pretty much isolated to a problem with my laptop missing something 1.5.1 needs to make texture packs function reliably. it's not even the size of them, some 16x work and some don't. And some like summerfields, worked on single player before i added mods but now refuses to load after adding mods, which makes no sense. plediacraft and pamplemousse are the only ones that load so far with mods on multiplayer or single player, which also makes no sense.
I'm not asking you to solve all of this, lmao. it's a weird issue. What I was hoping for was that the error report posted would say what was wrong in it. what is missing in my machine in 1.5.1 that 1.4.7 had that let me run better texture packs. if it doesn't tell you, it doesn't tell you and that's ok.
How do you plan on dealing with the new launcher architecture? Specifically that snapshots and new versions look like they may be being exclusively released through it, rather than Mojang's file server?

Learn some Java before you mod, and skip over the chapter on ModLoader, straight to MinecraftForge. It's better. Trust me.

I just have a quick question. This might be silly, but I was just wondering: when you create a new instance, does it automatically update LWJGL from Mojang's or do you have to do that manually in the MultiMC window?
Is there any way to get MultiMC to open Minecraft in a way similar to a Run.bat file would? Because I somewhat need that to get my ram availability to more stable levels.

Change how much RAM MultiMC allocates in the instance settings.

the AMCO pack doesn't seem to be recognized by the launcher, you can see that there's mods there, but when launched vanilla minecraft starts, any idea why?:/
did you actually install the "extract to minecraft jar file" to the actual jar? all that's in there is forge, so if you did that then right click your instance, click "rebuild jar" (just to be safe) and then in the jar mods section, click the forge button and then you can choose the top one, but 662 is the current recommended version of forge, so it would be safe to use that. If that fails, then I'll PM you with a constructed, working instance if you so wish.

Is it possible that you allow MultiMC to support LWJGL 2.9 that was just recently released?
Give a man a fish, and he'll be fed for a day.
By the way, keep up the good work!
