lol all i ahd to do was restart my computer :tongue.gif:
and i dont do that often
ps. looks nicer than multicraft and can i just copy my instances from multicraft into the multimc folder?
Yes you can, however, it will probably reset the order that your mods are installing. I'm working on a way to manually change the order that mods install which should allow you to fix this problem.
Mono runtime is not really an app, it's a library required to run .NET/Mono applications on Linux and OS X. The Mono SDK is for developers.
If you're trying to start MultiMC and it isn't launching, try re-downloading it. If it still doesn't work, make sure you've installed Mono correctly.
I ran the installer, and it said it was installed correctly. However, It didn't open the installer, and so I ended up installing it a couple more times. Having multiple Mono installs might be the problem, if it affects anything. Also, I re-downloaded MultiMC, and the same thing happened. No idea what's going on with the installer.

Also, thanks for the info. Very helpful.
If you install something twice, it shouldn't make a second install afaik. Are you using the beta version of Mono? If so, try the stable version.
Ok, I finally got around to after installing to try use it but it doesn't not like my username or password which is actual the right one to allow me to log-in when it prompt for password and username.
-Windows 7 64 bit
-Microsoft .net 4
-GTk# for .net 2.12.10

Try put in following areas C:\Users\username\app director and also in program files(x86).
Try re-download it several times but it does not fix the issues.
So how can this problem be resolved?
ps. You really need think have MultiMC generated log file, So that userand/or you have more clue happen on people system when have problem.

Does it give you an error when you try to log in? If so, what does the error message say?
I'm sorry to say, but I'm disappointed. Multicraft worked like a *charm*. Since you discontinued that and switched to MultiMC, I haven't been able to make it work. I've tried to install the GTK, and got an error. Then I proceeded to install the whole package with Mono and the GTK. It installed correctly, and I restarted (yes, I've read the thread). Even after the restart, the program crashes on startup. I'm using Win7, 32bit. I haven't tried that fix for the Kernelbase.dll file, because honestly it's a real hassle. I liked the old program, whose only install needed a doubleclick.
Edit: Please go back to supporting the old program :sad.gif:
I'm actually a bit disappointed myself, however, I'm making it my goal to make MultiMC just as easy to use and install as MultiCraft. I'm not going to go back to the old one though since I've put so much hard work into this one.
Still nothing. If nothing else, try to fix the problems for everybody else first; a simple installer problem is the least of your worries when tons of others have errors like they do. And I can survive without mods. If nothing else, it may be a problem on my end.
MultiMC 2.1
I've released version 2.1 which should fix the issues people have been having with windows. You'll need to download and install Mono for windows now instead of GTK#. In addition, this update also allows you to manually change the order in which your mods are installed by dragging them up and down in the edit mods menu.
I'm very sorry for the problems that have been occurring in the windows version. I'm trying my hardest to get them fixed ASAP. If you're still having issues with it, please find me in IRC (in the #risucraft channel) rather than posting on this thread. It will be much easier to help you this way.
If you are unfamiliar with IRC or simply don't have an IRC client, just use this link.
I noticed that when MultiMC downloaded the update and wanted to download it, I got some ASUS Bios updater thing instead when I said "Yes I want to update" for MultiMC is it supposed to do that?

I don't even understand how that's possible. Could you send me a screenshot?
You know, noticing that the OS X package has a .exe in it, the windows problems might be carrying over somehow. Go ahead and correct me if I'm wrong, but that's just my assumption.
Also, if I could send you a screen recording somehow, Forkk, of what's going on, that would be great. Just need an e-mail or something.
I'll have to grab the oldversion and make a second one I just updated manually and had no problem loving MultiMC,though I do miss double-click to play.

I made sure each install was the stable version. It's a mystery. :/

Maybe try the beta version then.
hehehe claims "Invalid username or password." even though same username/password works when I try log in old fashion way.

You could try changing your password I guess although I doubt that would help. I don't see a reason why this would be happening.
I'm using C# with GTK# for the GUI toolkit and Mono for Linux and Mac support. For my IDE, I use MonoDevelop.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Turn on show console in settings and tell me what it says when you run it
