Thank you so much for allowing me to finally relivisit the wonders of early beta worlds.
I've missed the vastly superior world gen so much. Why did they have to nerf the generator?
And I can now finally fully experience the verions of Minecraft I never did get to play.
This definately deserves to be on the first page forever.
please help!! whenever i use this, i find that it says i dont have one of the files in .minecraft. i have a 100% vanilla bin in version 1.3.2, and ive even tried moving all of the contents of .minecraft to a random folder and redownloading the whole thing by playing minecraft. despite this, it still says i am missing one or more of the files in .minecraft. can anyone help? ill post an error report if someone tells me where to find it. also, i am using MCnostalgia version 2.1.2.
How come any version before 1.8.1 doesn't have the old sounds?
That's because sounds are handled differently. They automatically re-download themselves upon launch, and they are in a different folder, so they're not effected.
Hi guys I just got this today, and it works great! I went back to alpha v1.0.15 which was when I first got the game (bright lime-green grass FTW!) and I've been having troubles with sounds not working. I can hear water flow, and mobs die or take damage. I deleted my entire .minecraft folder, but still no avail. Anybody know a fix to this problem or something?

As much as I wish it was, the sound problem is not with MCNostalgia; it's with your system sounds. check your volume control, mixer, and sound device properties.

Big idiot. Most likely leaving this dead, I hate this username lol
Oh, why bother with such a nasty command-line tool when there are easier programs to use... (See signature)

I doubt MCNostalgia will ever end up with that functionality, but PatchCraft 2.0 just might get a little Bukkit in it when Minecraft 1.4 rolls around.

WinRar or 7Zip is definitely needed as the files of the Mod itself is in the Zip.
The video tutorial for Mac Users is on the first page.
