Hey, That's pretty neat. What program did you use? (Visual studio?)
I know Batch too, and the Core of my Program is Batch, and TheWutz made a GUI For me. I'm going to continue making the program with TheWutz, but I want the ability to make some GUIs myself. (Meaning if he hasn't updated his GUI, I can use my own for testing purposes. As in, I added a new feature to my code, but the GUI doesn't support it yet. It will still work, just won't use the new features)

Once I get my C# Tools on this PC, (I've used it before on another), I'll create Testing GUIs. I like Visual Studio too (Which is what you use The Express thing.)

Why not just do your own GUI for the release? If you have a tool like Visual Studio, they're very easy to make (And easy to make a good looking one).

Because I'm using C#, I refuse to learn VB because it won't benefit me in the future. Batch is an OK Language to learn, but C# and Java are two languages out there that will get me a job.
I can make the GUI easily, I don't know how to make the code that backs up the GUI. I think I could steal some code from a Key Logger I made once (A code line that outputs text), but I don't know how to insert a variable into the outputted text.

And again, I like working with TheWutz.
Ah.
I wouldn't call Batch a language. It's really just a script that CMD runs through. It's so easy to learn that it wouldn't hurt.
but you are not supposed to bump though...just saying...
Why am I not supposed to bump? I'm working hard on the program still. That rule seems like it would just condemn programs that aren't instant hits and take more than a few days for each version.
I've already figured out the problem though. Thanks for the offer.
you cant bump because the admins said so, even if you work hard on your program, you are still not supposed to bump.
what you could do however, is to let my reply "bump" your post to the first page, then wait until your post fell into the second page then "reply my reply", so your post essentially will be in the first page for the longest time possible with the least replies possible and you wont actually be bumping
but if no one replies your post then you cant reply them, so your post will still "die" if no one ever replies, but frankly, in my opinion if your post cant survive with the method i mentioned, then it probably means people dont want your program, so then you should move on to another project that people might be interested in instead of hanging onto the current project that people are not interested in
and here's the forum rule regarding on bumps:

Do not bump your own threads to get more replies or older threads that have dropped off unless there is significant new information to add. Necrothreadia is preventable disease: let the dead lie.

I've read through those rules, and sent a PM to PirateBay regarding the situation. Letting the program that I've invested my time into die because "the Admins said so" seems like utter BS, and I will NOT stand for it.

Just Microsoft VB 2010 Express.

Agreed. Anyway, I've been bumping your topic XD. Nice work on it btw.
Haha, thanks. It looks better than me going "bump" all the time. Too bad it hasn't caught on enough to not need bumping :tongue.gif:
Still working on V1.1. It's taking me a while because I'm new to VB.
i could help with vb and other languages
