We will be updating this page to include links to the developer's pages as well, so that full credit is observed.
Perhaps you are not port-forwarding with your router. Routers are clueless by default when it comes to knowing where to send an inbound connection to on the local network. You have to program your router to send the data to the computer which hosts the server. We can show you how to do that through the live feed, if you'd prefer.
Been using Hamachi with MC (clean) with my friends having no timed-out errors joining. Once I used zBukkit they get that error.
I see, I've been getting the same error myself after trying hamachi. I will look into it. Have you tried changing the ip address of your server to the hamachi address of your comp? It's worth a shot, in the meantime I'll see what I can come up with for you! :biggrin.gif:

Update 6.5 brings a new core version of CraftBukkit (build #1000). This corrects memory leaks as well as a few minor fixes within the core server. The only file that has changed is the craftbukkit.jar server file in the root folder. Please update accordingly, and thank the awesome developers behind our package's plugins and server!

In the meantime, followers can look forward to extended functionality: I've begun building a plugin for the server that will bring /update and migration functionality. An automated migration tool is coming (though it will take time)! Have to fix hamachi first, then I can continue developing this plugin.

I'm not sure if I can/how to do this using the 32-bit version launcher of yours. I need this to work because when using the standard batch file launcher I get an insufficient memory error. I need to launch it using a 256mb launcher. Any help would be appreciated :smile.gif:

Hey, Zanely. I'm about to get back on the livestream, so you're welcome to jump on as well. I can help you adjust the memory parameters to better suit your needs, as well as help you configure it so that the server doesn't suck up your memory. Hop on our livestream! I'll be there shortly, as the storm over my home is passing.
You start as a guest when you first join the zBukkit server. You need to be promoted to Veteran or higher. Just do it through the console. (It was mentioned before, but the command is "/pr <playername> promote" I think.)
Also, on a side note, my game keeps crashing every time I respawn, and it used to think I was hacking, but I think it might be because I have the smart moving mod on. I'll try it without then I'll post an edit.
EDIT: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was either smart moving or minaptics (zoom), so I got rid of both. TMI is fine though.
EDIT2: Also, I want mobs to auto-spawn on my map, after changing it to peaceful with no mobs. But when I tell the server to spawn mobs all it lets me do it spawn them manually. Can you tell me how to correct this please?

Also I wanted to mention, while I am grateful the news of zbukkit is spreading, please do not advertise it's existence in other server mod threads (especially zMod). We moved our package to a new thread simply out of respect for the developer's (Zaneris) time and effort in putting zMod together. As zBukkit was a peacekeeping move, we would like to continue it's role as a peacekeeper: advertising it in another server thread is disrespectful to both the developer as well as their followers. Once again, please understand that I appreciate it, but please be mindful of the peaceful purpose of zbukkit when mentioning it.
That being said, please note that I am continuing development of the utility plugin. Migration will include functionality to take zMod's data files and convert them into zBukkit's config; it will also contain functionality to convert the configs back to zmod. With as much work as Zaneris put into zMod, we will not (and I say this with the most definitive air) undermine his work by not including a way to return to zMod on his return.
Update 6.6 brings corrected fire control. This should have been addressed with our first release; very sorry for the slip/delay. Please adjust your worldguard configs accordingly.

this looks cool but i have to say its not like zmod. mainly in the fact that zmod can run mods installed and they dont need to be made for modloadrmp for craftbukkit basically this seems like a small version of craftbukkit, does all the same stuff pretty much. and doesnt run minecraft_server mods that work only mods that use the craftbukkit version of modloadermp so whats the difference between this and craftbukkit?
Its a craftbukkit package.
zBukkit= Craftbukkit with plugins installed and configured, start it up and your server is ready.

and it comes down to this is not like zmod. zmod is a server wrapper for minecraft_server.jar not bukkit. so to say this is a remake of zmod its not its a copy of craftbukkit
zmod = easy mod install and server runs no problem with smp mods = ftw
zbukkit = copy of craftbukkit, does nothing extra that craftbukkit doesnt do and have to recode mods to work = lame
just my opinion but no matter how you sum it up = not zmod

when it says that its usually referring to your java folder location, i had the same issue with zmod it was loading java 6 I had 7 once I changed the bat file to load 7 it worked but that was zmod not sure with this
