Hello I Love This Because The planetoids Generator Stopped Working And I Found This So first Off I'd Like To Thank You For Making this.
Second I Have Some Ideas For The Planetoids
-
Stronghold Planets
Dungeon Planets
Ender Planets (Enderman Spawners In Planet Like The Dungeon One But Only Endermen)
Make It So You Always Spawn On A Planet And Not In The Water/Open Sky/Lava
Nether Planets (Netherrack And Fire)
And Last Obsiden Planets
I Hope You Can Implement At least One Of These
Thank You-
Drago1128
P.S I Posted this in the planetoids forum first and realized i just failed...
Epicly... ):
Anyway Yea.... ummm Also Can We Run This And Generate A Map When Playing Minecraft? Because some things you can't
Those golden tunnels look INCREDIBLE!
EDIT:
Theres got to be a quicker way of making a world. It takes way too long to generate, especially on my old computer.
Could you please work on improving the speed? That would be great.
There is no quicker way to generate Golden Tunnels, at least I don't know this way. I may improove the performance when a program generate a large map and thats all, but it will be after I rewrite some of the generator parts.

1. How do you imagine a stronghold planet? Strongholds are enormous and the planets are limited to 30 blocks radius.
2. I have in plans to add dungeon planets. For now there is planets with mossy cobblestone.
3. Changing a spawning point is already implemented. In Planetoid generator you always must spawn on a planet (with dirt or leaves). If you generated a map and spawned elsewere, then it is a bug or there is no such planets on a map.
4. Nether and obsidian planets sounds great. I'll try to implement those in future updates.
I can add this pattern, but can you tell me, what purpose is this for? Just cool and fun is not enough.
Also can you tell me, what map type will fit in this chunk distribution? I can see only flatmaps with this chunk distribution and adding all this for one map is just a waste of time and resourses.
could you add features into the normal world with settings option like
spawn in an npc village
spawn in a specific biome
have a normal world but spawn on a floating island
My program can't generate NPC villages or different biomes yet, but it is planned.
I don't understand the third option. Do the program have to generate a normal landscape and make the player spawns at a floating island above that landscape? If so, than I'll try to add this feature, as soon as I make a Minecraft's landscape generator.
P.S. Now I'm working on a desert generator. I've encountered some problems with that, but I'm sure I can handle that.
I can think of how a stronghold planet could work for the planet maps. Have them spawn rarly using the new brick type, and in the center have like a cell of iron bars and a silverfish spawner. It could look a bit like how the current portal rooms appear.

yes the player just spawns on a land mass floating thats is like 3-8 blocks wide or something

It seems that you are talking about Planetoid generator. There is also 3 generators, and in those generators players can't spawn on a floating island (well, maybe except Flatmap generator).
Can you be more specific about your thoughts and about a generator you are talking about?

if you have seen the mythical map generator there are a bunch of islands floating i just want to make it so you spawn on a normal world but on 1 of those islands
Great mod! Don't go in Golden Tunnels with anything but peaceful though!
Also at the very bottom of the map is a big layer of lava then solid bedrock under it.
If I may help, you are working on a desert? Try this.

It's already been mentioned, but thanks for trying ^.^;
I'm still working on a desert generator, but I'm having a bit of a problem. You can call it a working crysis.
It's extremly hard to work on this project alone and I need another person. I'm looking for a Delphi programmer to join my team. If anyone interested, contact me via skype (Mozzg1987) or via personal conversation in this forum. I don't even know, will I be able to finish this desert generator.
Will it be possible to later create generators for the program yourself with config files?
I don't think it is possible.
You can change settings of each kind of generator via settings window but you can't create a new generator using just a set of settings.

I don't think it is possible.
You can change settings of each kind of generator via settings window but you can't create a new generator using just a set of settings.
