I'm sorry to say that I'm not going to download your world. You uploaded the whole folder and I'm afraid that in order to download it I have to download every file one by one (that or pay a pro account in mediafire)... that's tedious. Could you upload it as a single zip file?

It seems to scan the nether and the end as expected. Any idea why could this be happening?

Mod Pack i am using is the direwolf20 Pack
PLEASE i need it i have worked so long on it i dont want to lose it
I dont know what caused it
Hello!
So.. I'm guessing you are on windows (7 64 bits?), that you tried the windows exe, that you scanned the world and it didn't report any problems, right? Some context always helps!
If you are certain that region-fixer can't detect your problem you could send me your world so I can give it a look. Maybe I can update region-fixer to fix a new problem (maybe).
That said, and if you don't have more information about the problem, if you want to send me the world you can use a PM.
Im not sure why this is happening but i have decided to just delete this world and start over because of all the trouble it has been causing, thank you so much for all the help

I have run the region fixer on my minecraft server to fix a crash that happens only as a I near a developed portion of my map. The script i used was "python /home/server01/minecraft\ region\ fixer/regionfixer.py /home/server01/minecraftbuild164/MineWorld
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The results return with no errors found. Is there a way i can get the region fixer to delete all non-vanilla entities and blocks?
I'm afraid there is no way to do that with region-fixer right now. It's a feature that I want to add but I'm in other things right now. You could try to remove ALL the entities in that zone by scanning the region files of that zone with the option "--entity-limit=0". Maybe that helps.
I guess mcedit would be a (very slow) solution.
Good luck with your problem!
Thank you for your quick reply.
Will this remove all entities and blocks...i.e. items in chests and my mansion? Would this be placed in the portion before the dirretories are called or after .py before map directories. Is the whole program source is in the repositories from github? Ill have a look see. Maybe checking entities for removal would be a feasible addition for a novice like me. Is this project strictly your own, or do you have development team.
Chests are TileEntities and are not affected by this method and the same goes for items inside chests. Items dropped in ground are entities and will be removed.
The option '--entity-limit=0' should be before the world directories... also! I forgot to mention that to actually remove the entities you should also add '--delete-entities', the command would be like this:
Yep, the whole source code is in the github repo. I would say the project is mine, there is no development team... feel free to add any feature! But I think that one can be tedious as the code is right now (pretty messy)... but not really hard. Some parts of the code need a rewrite!
Ill see what I can do, If I actually make any progress ill make a post on this thread as it seems to be an excellent way to get a hold of you, maybe then we talk about private communication and incorporation. Do you use PyDev are your preferred IDE? Sorry to get off topic in the thread, hope this information is relevant to the topic.
No problem! At the moment most of my programming is done in an old laptop, because of that I use Geany, which is pretty lightweight. I want to try Eclipse+PyDev though, any suggestions/tutorials?
Hello, i am also having problems with region fixer, it seems as if one of my region files is unable to be scanned, can anyone help me? "r.0.-1.mca" is the region unable to be scanned. http://www.mediafire...error.png ---- link to a screenshot of the .cmd lines http://www.mediafire...ygv9/region.zip ---link to the region file in question
ended up just deleting the region file and it seemed to work, it reloaded quite a large amount of chunks though but nothing was destroyed thank goodness.
Well... that's a way to solve it. Yes.
For the next time you can scan that region file using the python interpreter for windows 64bits.
