I did, but I was having the same issue before updating.
Unfortunately 1.1 breaks AM, or maybe that should be 1.1 causes AM to break Minecraft.
For now we'll just have to wait patiently for an update. After we get that update you can be more effectively helped.
The website will be down in a few days when the Godaddy economy shared hosting plan expires. I will have to start a new ad-supported hosting plan and re-upload all the files at this time. As cheap as the economy hosting is under an annual term, donations aren't covering it anymore. Thanks, though, to those of you who donated!

Ack. Notch didn't announce this one on his blog! I will try to get the update online tomorrow (Sunday) evening.

Did you install XNA as well? Also required.

No worries Bp, we know you're pretty quick with your updates. Mod Loader has already been updated and working fine. I'm not sure if you'll see many more notices from Notch, I thought Jeb took over. *shrugs*
im also having a problem running am, it says i need .NET Framework v4.0.30319 but i downloaded and installed all the stuff that it says to from the home page and i keep getting that window, what should i do? and i am still running 1.0.0 not 1.1

I am going to need more information before I can be of much help. If you can please provide a screenshot including the error message(s), it would be extremely useful. In case you have not done this before: Just press your print screen key when the message appears, paste in paint, save as jpg, and upload the jpg file to imgur.com or postimage.org. Then copy the image link into your reply.
There is also a good chance you can find out what is wrong by searching this topic (via the search box above) for some of the exact text of the error message. If you haven't already tried that anyway.
Hmm. The link works for me.. and I know it worked once for you. :laugh.gif:
It typically costs about $10/year for domain registration and $3.50 - $4.30/month for the hosting plan I was on (and apparently still am on until tonight) depending on what kind of coupon codes Godaddy has available at the time and how well they stack with the annual subscription discount. That is the cheapest hosting I could find anywhere.
Anyway the site will go down tonight and come back up with the Godaddy ad bar on it and the AM update just below :tongue.gif:
I may just say F it and buy another 1-year hosting plan next time I see a 30% off no limit coupon in my inbox. Who knows when that'll be.
Hey bp I just got a strange crash and when when I ran minecraft with MCPatcher to see if i could find out what was going on I see many instances of this going on.

Okay I realize that the internet protest is active right now, but I read in the news that senators have withdrawn their support for it, so can we please turn the download links back on?
Only the front page of minecraftAM is blacked out. You can still go straight to the download page.

Unfortunately this error message could be just about anything. Please try it on a brand new world. If that doesn't work, try with no other mods (except of course ModLoader) and see if it works (also on a new world).
I recently found a way to build this to run on a Mac. The version I have right now is extremely buggy and the static map and options pages aren't working at all, but what was once deemed impossible may now be possible. If there is enough interest I may go ahead and finish this port. How many people need a Mac version? Linux may technically be possible as well but there would have to be a great deal of interest for me to mess with it.
i don't know if his has been talked about already but i have a question. When i enter a cave Automap displays let's say rails. How do i know if the are below me or above?
If you are in a cave, everything you see is either at the ceiling height, or lower. if the rails show darker on the map, then they are more than 8 (I think) meters below you

Actually there is no set distance for them to get darker. If the ceiling is really high, things above you can actually appear dark. The best way to tell if they are lower is the shading of the rails relative to the shading of the blocks where you are standing.
Or, if you have Show Ore Height on (under the All Hotkeys tab in the options), you can add specific block IDs to the Custom Ores list (under the Realtime Map tab). Then you get the red line on each block to indicate it is lower or blue line to indicate it is higher. A full list of block IDs can be found here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Data_values#Block_IDs_.28Minecraft_Official_Release.29

Let me know what happens.
Will do, will take a couple days but I'll test it for you, I didn't figure the error gave you much to work with though since it claimed "AutomapServer" I figured I'd share it with you. I just generated a new world, so I'll test it out for you and see if it does it again. I think I may just have had an issue with that one world, which I since dumped.
*EDIT*Figured it out, that error spams in the console if Minecraft is running but no world is loaded.

Also, what's the cost for a year?

The website also got moved to a different (free) server. If you have trouble getting to the website, see this for instructions to force your DNS records to update: http://www.winvistatips.com/force-dns-update-t728174.html

Why on earth don't more people use it? Glad to see another update :happy.gif:
.NET 4.0 and XNA 4.0 are requirements. <-- You need to install them first, in the order listed.
