while it may appear similar to other packs, including Disco's oCd, the theme of basic and simplistic textures limits what you can do.
No it doesn't. You can be simplistic and OCD-ish without making it look like Disco's oCd. Because at present, this looks a lot like disco's oCd pack. Just you've altered some basic shapes. I'm not saying you copied it. Just the textures that you've created say Disco's OCD, and not oCd. Simple isn't limiting. Your imagination is. Step back and brainstorm for a bit.
There's more to making this stuff than just flattening out the textures, and making them square and symmetric. Change colours. Make things actually look different. If your pack is 32x, then use the extra pixels. All your textures look 16x. The fact you've doubled your resolution gives you a lot more to work with. Not trying to sound like a jerk, but I'm pretty sure anyone who sees this will see it as another oCd clone, and would also disagree that simplicity limits what you can do. Keep in mind, games used to be made with entirely monochromatic colour palettes, consisting of about 4 shades, and 16x tiles. You have 32x and an infinite number of colours available. Use them, and use them well.
This should be removed in fact. The textures might have been stolen from Disco's oCd pack and just remodeled it to 32x.
I did a comparison, because I thought the same. They're not stolen and upscaled. But they're HEAVILY inspired/based off of disco's textures. Proves my point.

Ill also work on a new name since that is probably one big thing that is causing issues.
Thanks for the feedback guys, its hard when you have no one to bounce things off when working on them.
Well feel free to hop back on and ask. Good luck with the project.
