This is Rustica. This is what I would consider to be my epitome of texture packs. I've spent well over six months on this little guy, and I felt it was time release it to the public and give you guys another option on how to experience your Minecraft world. So sit back as the purple and yellow hues take your Minecraft world and give it a realistic twist. Get ready for Rustica.
Below are some ways that you can support this texture pack and myself These are all optional, I only offer these to those that would like to help!
The easiest way to support me is when you download be sure to use he "download" link. It directs you to adf.ly where you see a couple ads for a few seconds, and I get a little more change in my pocket. I appreciate every person that uses the top download
I do enjoy playing LoL, and if you've ever thought of trying it out please use the link below! Basically, if you get to level 5/10 I get some bonuses for referring you to their game. You get to play a fun game, I get free stuff
And the most direct way to support me is to donate! It motivates me and helps me with buying a new computer because I drastically need one. I hope to get it at the end of December.

Some items will be left unfinished until I do their representative items. (IE I wont do the armor icons until I do the armor textures themselves, same with minecarts.) Most recent snapshot compatability! V0.6 - Updated some textures on the terrain.png to my liking. Compatible with 13W01B. Tweaks to items. Moon and sun finished. Next up GUI! V0.7 - Compatible with 1.5.
This section will be for media made by users of the texture pack, and will be updated accordingly
This is actually a lets play that was started as soon as Rustica came out. As you watch the series, you slowly will see my pack evolve, and its a nice way to see it from beginning to end!

This texture pack is protected by a TAU gold emblem. The gold emblem is a high level of security, and states that anyone can make personal edits to my pack but cannot distribute said edits commercially. Downloading this pack then distributing it at all is unlawful.
A thank you to all those that posted on my WIP thread and gave me feedback before the release, to those that I talked with on skype and told me the goods and bads of my textures (especially #4, Levaunt, and iiPod ) and finally, a thank you to Grar for taking screenshots for me. If you want the world ask him about it on his thread for his texture pack Willpack!
I'd just like to say, especially compared to the other textures, these textures look washed out. Just doesn't quite look right to me.

I think that dirt, stone, netherrack, glowstone, and soulsand look too similar in texture. Like the round look.
Im going to change the soulsand into an actual sandy texture, but the others are probably going to stay the same. The dirt and stone go good together, and the glowstone/netherrack look really nice imo.
I mean, not every texture has to look crazy different. Like i think of netherrack like the stone or the nether, so I made it stone-y. And glowstone I like to think of gems, so I might make more angular shading, but thats probibly going to be it
I love your style, but I think the stones in the gravel are rather large. Also, the dark splotches on the birch logs look a bit awkwardly jagged compared to the roundness of the other blocks. Great work, can't wait to try it out!
Looks nice! I don't want to be a criticizer, but the gravel doesn't really seem look gravel to me. It looks more like sand with big pebbles in them. I suggest changing the color outside the rocks, but that's only my opinion.
BTW I would love beta testing your texture pack!

Its supposed to be sediments spread over top dirt. I just think it looks nice for walkways as that's all gravel is really useful for
Looks really good so far. Something about the planks seems a bit off. Maybe they're too thin for my liking? I'm not quite sure. The darker coloring where the individual planks join could be throwing me off as well. Also, the smooth stone could stand to be a little smoother, but overall I like how the textures are similarly patterned. It makes the pack feel unified and coherent.
I've been eagerly awaiting an update to Dithered Delight, but it's cool to see this new stuff too. Keep up the good work!

The planks are probably going to change. Im satisfyed with the shapes and layout of the planks, but both the shading / colors dont feel right for me. And also as for the smooth stone it isn't truly smooth, but when building with it it still fells like a valid smooth building material. Like in the dwarven hall photo, the walls are smoothstone and while the texture itself shows bulbous rocks, it still feels smooth and flows nicely. If that makes sense.
And i know i promised I'd get an update out for DD but Ive just honestly lost interest in that pack. Now that Ive improved I notice alot of flaws in that pack and I just don't like it as much as I used to. Ill keep the terrain updated, but I'm just not that interested in continuing progress.

Yes it does. It definitely looks good with the other stone type blocks as is.

It's all good. A lot of the style of DD is reflected in this pack, which also looks great, so don't feel obligated to update something you're no longer interested in.

Best compliment yet, haha

Yeah if you're happy with the shape/layout, then touching up the shading/colors would be good to focus on.

Already changed the grass last night
Its that odd color for biomes.
As for the logs, can you elaborate what you don't like about them or how I can improve them? Because they seem fine to me.
Also, you did 70% of your pack in 2 weeks?
WHY CAN'T I TEXTURE THAT FAST! Darn...
Told you what hmm?(Really I don't remember... I sometimes have sort term memory loss....)
I actually texture very slow I had to basically completely give up my social life to finish as much as I did.
I don't have a social life... Well I do, but they're all as antisocial as I am so...
