Looking good, I'm sure this will be very useful in the future. By the way, I think you should try adding a preview pic or something to each texture pack to make it stand out a little more.
Yeah I had planned on that, actually. May just take the best looking picture from each thread, or have each person submit their own.
i like this idea tyken, its like a revival of the gerudoku thread, but expanded to different varieties of textures, I would like to see johnsmith too, that feels RPG to me too :smile.gif: If he can't come, don't worry, the rest are already awesome, like Jadoku and arcane pack :smile.gif:
Might as well start off with this paper. Can anyone improve it?
That looks really good! I'm not sure you can improve it since its already very good, but if I had to suggest something it would be this. The paper looks like its supposed to be somewhat aged, so maybe make it a slightly yellower color. But if its not supposed to look aged, then you got it nailed!
can anyone help with these two mobs i made? i'm happy with how they turned out, but i want to add more details to them, but can't think of what to add.
That is a creeper and a slime right? I might try something later today.
spider and slime actually. with the spider i was trying to make it look like it had an exoskeleton or something... but i think the slime is the one i'm more interested in improving. I may try adding bulging eyeballs or something.
It seriously annoys me that the term RPG is constantly misused on these forums. RPG =/= Fantasy and Fantasy =/= RPG
People generally tend to use the word RPG when they mean something similar to Dokus RPG pack. He did not invent the term you know.
All texture packs that encourage Role Playing qualifies as an RPG texture pack. This pretty much means all texture packs except simple and abstract ones. All themed packs are RPG texture packs.

While its true the term rpg is pretty loose, to the point that it can be applied to most packs. How ever, when most people think of rpg they think of the zelda-esk style. However, as you've seen, we do accept every style of "rpg" as long as the person is willing to share and contribute.

The spider looks wonderful as it is and so does the slime. My only idea for the slime is to maybe make it looks like it absorbed something, like crushed meat in the center.

Thanks! :biggrin.gif:
Sorta, its more of a place for RPG style artists to help each other and display their packs.

There's the link. :tongue.gif:
A few alternate rail designs, mostly just redoing my current tracks. Various colors and designs, as well as a "Bolder" set of tracks.
Original my cloth had horribly stitches so I removed them, then experimented with a few other designs using colored stitches and a few other designs.

Completley agree with you.

hmm, maybe a hand sticking out?
I like this. Maybe in addition to the hand some other body part half absorbed with bone sticking out?
looks good! You should still add a foot/leg
