Sorry for the repost...kinda got pushed to the back :/ Anyways.... I'm iffy On my textures. I'd say it's some of my best work (I'm not really proud to say that honestly) but anywho, does this count as simple? What is everyone's thoughts?

I really like the tall, top-heavy mushrooms, but wet farmland just being dry farmland with something on it doesn't really do it for me, I like more visibility as the ground irrigates. Also, I'm not too fond of opaque trap doors, but that's just me.
At this rate, I might be able to make mobs! Also, the bedrock is very WIP. I really want to incorporate that symbol in it, though.
Wow, away for one day and so much awesomeness arrives!
Levaunt: Really love that first pack (before you somewhat simplified it), please continue it and release it as a seperate pack sometime!
The new, more simple pack looks great too - glad to see you kept the dirt, it does look lovely.
Greenbean: That's a really awesome pack start - love the style and you should really continue this one! (hope you kept the other around as well though cos that was really nice looking too)
Steel: Yo pack looks lovely, really like the look of yours too! Really love the sand and grass stuff though, they look awesome. Please finish soon so I can use it!
Lilyo: Your pack isn't exactly simple (not that I can really talk - am working on that though) but I really do love it! Please continue or continue on your other 16x one, I want to use one of your packs cos they never seem to get finished... *sheds tears*
Plenty of sea creatures: Liking this new pack too and the massive CTM implementation already is really awesome. Just don't get too distracted by CTM and not finish the terrain!
That's really all I can be bothered talking about now, gonna go do some more of my pack and have a sleep.... 4 hours of uncomfortable sleep doesn't go down well!

Thanks. Btw, I pretty much agree with everything you just posted XD
Also, I did my wools. Inspired by Steelfeathers' Dragon Dance.
THOSE WOOLS. i can't wait for this pack to be out. My OCD can be not be crazy using this. My pack on the other hand is...I feel not simple? At least compared to yours.

I like making my wet farmland dark too, but I'm hampered by palette limitations in this case-- the two colors on the dirt are the darkest browns I have.

Yay! I shall work post-haste to finish it for you, commander sheep. *snaps off salute*
Bookshelves, workbench, and furnace. I'm not too happy with the furnace design-- it's not original at all. Any ideas for what I could do for it?
[Drools at the overall progress of this pack and wishes he'd thought it] QQ Everything I see everyone posting is making me wish I had made or created that. It happens a lot. It aggravates me :/ IDK if it's just me or what?
EDIT: as for those ores, I can shiny up the diamonds, but the white highlight on the emerald is god awful. And I already used all 4 of those greens...so...I could use the lighter green/blue perhaps?

I opted for changing the color of my diamonds to pink/lavender when I couldn't differentiate them enough from the lapis. Don't feel limited by the default.
Ok, sorry for being a bit absent for a day or two, school got in the way of texturing, don't you hate it when that happens?
Anyways, good progress today.
also, chisled stone brick
and did somebody say BETTER GLASS?
Here is where I need your guys' help. Which glass frame should I use? The blue, gray, or brown one? I can't decide.
Steelfeathers, I am already in love with that pack. For the furnace, I would like to see a border of stone at the bottom. I don't like the idea of just tossing in coal and burning metal onto my floor.
Greenbean: I love your textures, but ya, you need to figure out a fix for the emerald. Maybe see if you can find some nice blues that go with it.
Shiftsix, I love the dithering pattern you have. Keep it up!
Also, I made these textures when I was messing around and I liked the way they came out, but they don't fit my pack, so if someone else wants them (just not for the challenge obviously) go ahead.

Adding highlights isn't the only way to make things appear shiny-- try making the lowlights and shadows darker. That will make the brightest green seem very bright by comparison. (ah, color theory, how I love you.)

I'm working off the same Palette as you... It's kinda hard with a limited palette.
After I finish my homework I'll see about making that emerald so shiny it will hurt your eyes.
oh snap. Steelfeathers, Lord of Winterfell and the Protector of the Realm, let your challenge destroy my undeserving eyes. I always knew your Avatar was really Ghost.
Yeah, I'm with Steelfeathers on the frames, the dirtiness of the glass itself blends better with the light blue. Also, I really like your logs, they have subtle differences, but maintain the same overall feel.
I think it counts.
I did my other planks, I'll CTM them tommorow...

Even the last part.
Yes!

D: You can do it! Believeeeeeeeeeeeee
I really love the design of these. Diamond and emerald could stand to be shinier, though.
I'm liking how this is turning out. I'm not usually a fan of packs that use grid-like textures, but this is nice, especially the stone and ores.
Ah-ha! There we go! Welcome to simple land, levaunt. Please, stay a while.

Peyton's pallet is good, but i'm still having trouble

Hmm...I'd say top. The speckled frame doesn't look right with the wood colors of the bottom two.

Saplings, ore blocks, and frog dispensers, oh my!
