Well this is what I was afraid of.... Someone was going to show me up with my own palette. Good work! Love the stone bricks.
Thanks! Oh, and......
More progress on mine! :3

It's looking good! Very interesting stone. Very nice color choice by the way.
Edit: I guess I should update what I have done so far as well and since I am too lazy to take screenshots right now:
woops, guess I missed that. Good work so far though. I'm really liking the dirt and grass, but it might be nice to see the stone in game because it seems that it may be too contrasting.
Also do you guys think blue obsidian would work because I think it would look pretty nifty, but I'm not sure if it would be a really good idea.
Edit: I think it looks pretty good
I still have no finalized progress to show... But I've gone through a few styles trying to get one that looks half-decent with my palette, and I should have something soon.

Hmm. Methinks your palette could use some purples... The texture looks good, and the colour doesn't really take away from it as much as it does make it look... Different.

For a second, it made me think I had the image highlighted. xD It actually looks good.

Alright then I think I'll stick with the blue. The way I had it before, it was too similar to bedrock and I couldn't think of another natural block that I was going to make blue, so I thought that was the natural answer.
Edit:
I did all the wool I could, but I still am not sure what to do for purple, pink, and magenta. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I was able to make some progress, which I'm actually quite happy with!
(Stone, Dirt, Grass, Oak & Jungle wooden planks)
Also, I tweaked my palette a bit, so here's the updated one:
Nice palette and nice planks, but I don't really like the stone or dirt. The huge cracks without any chunks looks weird especially since the cracks just look like random noise rather than actual shading

I do somewhat agree with you on that note, and it does look random.
I guess I just found it nice in my view, yet I will probably tweak those in the future.
That said, I always find it difficult to texture stone, but I'll try my best.
Thanks for the note! and good luck to you as well!
I wondered that too... its strange, there's been like no activity here for a few days or more
It's the holiday season, and I might say it was a bit of a bad time for a contest as it is the busiest time of the year. That's my reason for not getting anything done on this. I've also found it harder than I expected to work with a 32 colour palette, so I barely get anything done when I do squeeze in enough time. One thing is for sure: I won't have a completely finished terrain.png by the 5th. I may have a few blocks, but I have many packs right now and none of them have finished terrain.pngs.

I should have been. I've quite enjoyed working in 16x with such a limited palette... I do have some progress I never showed, though.
So, might as well show it.

That snow is fantastic! I love the idea of snow clinging to the dirt clumps.

Side snow is god tier, reminds me a lot of elds pack. I love it.

Thing is, I'm not that good at building palettes...
Here's my take on it, anyway:
Also, made some wooden planks:
Your Palette, and your Planks are both very good!
Again, Thanks!
Yours is looking great as well :3

As of now, I believe so.

Alex, I'm also doing a 32x32!
