the people say they want traps, and i have good ideas for traps but it requires the change of the pressure plate texture......only one problem, I DONT KNOW WHERE THE PRESSURE PLATE TEXTURE IS IN THE MINECRAFT JAR!....if anybody knows please tell me

The pressure plates are derivative textures. Wooden pressure plates get their texture from wood planks, and stone pressure plates get their texture from stone.

"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly.
It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

so if i change the "pressure plate" texture it will also change the wood?

No, I'm saying if you change the wood planks texture, it will change the wooden pressure plate texture. Without modding, they are linked, and pressure plates cannot be retextured directly. Although the suggestion in my sig would change that.

My friend is a pretty good coder, so I'll ask him if he can make something really quick. I know a bit of Java, and there is something that would take about 5 minutes that I think might work.

that would be awesome cause i cant make really any traps without them being spotted from a mile away

You could always use XP proximity sensors....
XP will activate wooden pressure plates..... and when you walk close to XP, it comes towards you, even if it is trapped behind something....
just use bottle o' enchanting and a dispenser for it....
no mods needed
just clever trap-making
I would use it, but I'm no map maker.
