I forgot to bring up in my last post that the splash potions should be animated the same way regular consumable potions are.
With that said, I made the ? Block ores animated.
Plus a tile you can use for Mycelium.
Due to the way potion textures work, the splash and normal potions both use the same 'liquid' texture, so both are animated the same way.
I like your idea of the ores being animated, although I will probably use different colours.
As for the mycelium, while it does, well, look like mycelium, I will keep it as it is, for the same reason as the grass: Accuracy to the games. However, If people want, I could release a different version that has visible grass and mycelium.

Ah, found an online emulator for 'Sakura-Namiki'. Other than the cherry blossoms and pink recolours, that tile that you provided seems to be the only thing changed, though, so I probably won't use anything else from it, but will use that tile for alternate grass and mycelium tops.
EDIT: Also, I found out what was wrong with the spruce leaves: the colourmap is supposed to be called 'pine.png', not 'spruce.png'. Brilliant naming, mcpatcher. So, that will be in the next update, as well as fixed chickens and silverfish textures.

Because I can't find any good ones anywhere that are for 1.5+, and that are based on the first games. I acknowledge that this is no original idea, but I believe that this is the most complete NES Mario texture pack that there is.

The old hardened clay is still in the alternates folder, just in case you preferred ugly bricks for some reason.
