Optifine hasn't been updated for 1.6.1 yet. When they update I'll make sure everything works with it. I don't think I will be changing sounds, at least not in this pack.
Hey bro, i was the one who told freestyle about this pack, cause i really liked it, i hope you add custom sounds and continue the good work
That's cool. Wasn't really planning on custom sounds because everything is way better than I could do (except the villager sounds), but do you have any ideas?
The sounds don't work on Minecraft when I use this! Please fix!
Hmm... It works for me. Are you using mods? If you use MCPatcher try installing the latest version. Make sure minecraft and system sounds are turned up and your speaker/headphones are plugged in all the way. There isn't really anything I can do on this end because I haven't changed anything related to sound.
Those are some good ideas. I'm not to sure about the pumpkin but it's an interesting idea. For animating mobs and anything else not in the "textures" folder, you have to put the animation in the "anim" folder and give it a .properties file that has things like where the animation goes and timings. You can look at my anim folder to get an idea of how it works. More info at the MCPatcher and Optifine threads I linked in the main post.
I'll get to your PM in a bit.
Animating faithful isn't going to happen because I don't have time and I wouldn't be allowed to distribute the textures. Faithful is sort of a community thing, so I might be able to animate and send a few textures to Vattic. Idk, faithful seems really obsessive about keeping the default look even though they're textures could be a lot better.
So, no animating faithful? If you have time, please do. Just if you have time. Might as well do it myself.

Hey blocksmithed, I saw that you made a version of your post translated to portuguese, well, you used Google Translate to do it, if you feel that you need a more advanced translation, just add me on skype:
-snip-
Then I can help you to translate it to Portuguese!

Thanks for the offer! Is the translation very bad? I made it mostly for fer0m0nas in case he ever decides to put a link to this in his videos. I'll add you on Skype.
I should have the next update ready within the next week or two. We'll see.
I think the jukebox should only be animated when there is an music disc inside. But it is only possible with CTM.
I thought about that a long time ago but didn't realize that jukeboxes use meta-data! (I thought they stored which disk is in them like chests. CTM can't tell what is in chests). It does use CTM but I will add this in the next update. Thanks for making me think about that again! Your English is very good.

Well, it is not that bad, but could be better, there's some words that doesn't make sense.
If you're interested in a better translation and/or a website, just add me on Skype, I'll be glad to make those stuff for you!
Edit: Sorry, I really got into it, and made your website, in english and portuguese with some
support, like tablets, smartphones, etc.
As you don't have a domain, I hosted it on mine. http://drpdevelopmen...m/blocksmithed/
Nice animated texture pack.
Altho I would ask if you can keep the textures all 32x32, because the crack on the egg and the music disc in the record are 64x64.
I also want to ask if you mind help edit other texture packs to animate, because I have a texture pack that I love and want to be animated.
Hey I've got an idea! how about you make it so the fire charge pulses or glows something like that its something I thought of looking at the glowstone and maybe the ghast tear drips? Awesome Resource pack Btw

I can't really keep all the textures 32x32 and make them look as smooth as they do. I try to make most of the textures look like x16 textures that move (sometimes by using higher resolutions. Hence the "hybrid" in the name). For example, I made the jukebox texture in 32x32 and scaled it up to 128x so that I could make it spin without looking horrible. I do try to make them as small as I can for the people with less powerful computers.

Good ideas. I'm not sure about the ghast tear because if you think of it like a water drop, it wouldn't be dripping because it is the drip (hope that makes sense :P). Maybe I'll just make it glisten or something.
I am almost ready to post the next update. It's just that there is a ton of stuff to do with editing a new video, making changes to the forum post, fixing random stuff and re-uploading files, making new gifs, compiling change logs, updating idea credits, tons of stuff today irl... ugg...
You didn't answer me if you wanted to help animate a texture pack, if you do want to, search "eldpack unofficial continuation project" on google and click the first result

Oh I'm sorry. That part of your post slipped my mind. I don't really have time to make animations for another pack, but I will gladly give any info and help you might need and maybe do a few requests. Message me about anything and I will try to help.
oh well... i want sounds
That's cool. Wasn't really planning on custom sounds because everything is way better than I could do (except the villager sounds), but do you have any ideas?
Sorry, but no. I'd rather not let anyone use these textures. Thanks for the nice comments though.
That's a good point. It is a good thing resource packs let me set a default frame time so I don't have to change 800 lines.
I think it should be working now. If the main one doesn't work there is an alternate link under "version history"
Do you have any ideas? It's just that sounds aren't really the point of this pack.

Looks like the optifine update is 94% done! I'll be so happy too because 1.6 hates integrated graphics cards.

I especially love the blaze powder and gem blocks.
Quem sabe você não faz um Faithful 512x? kkk

I wish I could, but I don't have enough time. Sorry
Bem que eu queria, mas eu não tenho tempo suficiente. desculpe
