Wow I'd never even considered that leaves could be added. They look great; my only concern is that they might look slightly out of place in a biome without any trees... Is it possible to make grass ctm biome-specific?
Thanks They do give it some life don't they (even if they are dead) and YES they will only show in certain Biome.......i will have other things in the other bio...........i couldn't do this before but its a new Mcpatcher/Optifine feature and I will use to the max

Also... could you give me some advice? How do you organize your drafts and sketches and finished works? I have... like 4 folders by now sorted by how much I like the stuff but it's sooooo many diffierent things I think I'm losing track.

Hmm well i'm not that organized but i do break everything down into folders. So i have a terrain, mobs, ctm, items etc then i have relevant psd files in those. Then i have multiple workings/versions i will label them something like cobble1, cobble2 etc I then have more folders that are purely SEUS adjusted textures so i will have a separate folder for say the items and in a SEUS folder there will be duplicate files that i can adjust. Then i have other folders than contain different pack sizes for the 64x pack..........its a lot of files and lots more to come.

I found the sand to be fine. If there were sub-biomes though I would die for some of that red sand, perhaps one day Minecraft will have a feature for it.

Hi, I'm still tweaking the textures and the sand is one that still needs some work but that's too brown for the palette of my pack. I do want it to have more yellow than that. All the realism packs tend to have dark brown sand I want it a little more bold to fit the cartoony side but it does need adjusting still, mainly the non shader version is too contrasted.
Could i ask in the nicest possible way not to post personal edits as per my terms and remove the piccy. I'm really being quite strict on keeping the pack in public as per my vision. I do fully realize that people wont always like all the textures i do but then it becomes an issue where discussion opens up that means some may like it one way or another and i get asked to change textures or do recolours and haven't even finished the pack yet. All the sand stone would need to be changed also of course.
Once edits and mixing in with other packs becomes public, my personal vision of what Chroma Hills is will become diluted and people will get mixed messages what it is.........I don't want that to happen if i am to keep motivated to make CH a long term project with all the mod support etc.
I'm glad you found something that suits your taste more, but please keep it on a personal level and not to throw more pressure into the mix when i still have so much to do
Discussing ideas,feeback is all really welcome and i can look at alternatives to offer choice, i hope you understand where i'm coming from and that i have explained my reasons in a friendly and reasonable manner.
Send me over the texture, it needs more yellowish but the contrast is sort of where i wanted to be and i'll take a look.

The current sand has gotten a lot of complaints, but I like it.

I now feel i need to go back to it again.........so i will look at it tomorrow and put current work to one side. Still have CTM to add to the sand but i wont touch that until its still not being tweaked.
Sand as it should be in non shader pack with custom colours switched on, the yellowy tinge brings a brighter feel and compliments the greens. I will lower the contrast a little to bring the colours of the sand a little closer together

Hi, can you explain what you mean? Whats wrong with the texture folder and what isn,t working for you as no one has found any errors to my knowledge and it works fine here so i'm curious :-)

Sidenote: Don't get me wrong, I think the CTM looks great, but I thought of Olives when I saw them

Me too ............ Def's mind scares me a little.......and i thought mine was a little warped!
Dead leaves added...thats 12 texture ctm so far. Wait till you see the tall grass ctm.
Also I took the liberty of changing the moon, it was really bothering me to have that nice of a sun and that vanilla of a moon.
Oh yeah a few people have put their own moons in i did start a moon, with phases......i'll have it ready for the next update kinda slipped my mind:)
