I don't know if someone has pointed this out already, but the sides and the tops of the cobblestone block for both 1.4.6 mod versions of JS are different.
Here's the image of what the cobble looks like. Just thought I'd ask and see if it's a mistake or if my game's screwed itself or what.

I've one single question for you. Since 1.5 update we will have different folders or different image files for each block in Minecraft.
How will you solve this? Whether there would be the chance of some form of Customizer of the blocks and folders?
I came up with an idea of how you might solve the problem of Customizer for this topic.
You could arrange a list of types of blocks in this thread, hidden somehow, for example by the spoiler tag. For example, I'm clicking on "BRICKS", I can see all bricks textures that are avaiable and downloading one of them to my 1.5 texture pack folder.
Packs of textures by cartain block type. Like above, hidden in spoiler tag. Example - I'm clicking in BRICKS and downloading whole avaiable textures for bricks and than choosing best one on my hard drive.
I've hope this will fix the problem with using Customizer with old textures made originally by JohnSmith

We did have an idea about having a download with all of the Johnsmith textures in the new TP format and then people could just take what textures they liked and paste them in their pack.
I am using JS Legacy and the beacon beam is not showing in SMP. Has anyone else seen this problem?
I was playing around with some ideas in Creative mode using the texture pack and when I moved over to SMP to build my structure, the beam doesnt show up. If I switch my texture pack to vanilla and rejoin the server, the beam shows just fine.
For some reason, I've noticed that Lich Towers (Twilight Forest) and Soul Forges (Soulshards) are completely invisible, see through blocks while using the T.R. version of the pack. Anyone else getting the same issue? Pretty much forced to switch to default if I want to deal with lich towers at all, though the empty hole in the world in my house makes it easy to find the soul forge at least.

That's all fine and well, nobody's going to stop you from using them. However, if you'll look at ours, you'll notice something. Look at our IC2 textures next to our Thermal Expansion textures, our RP2 textures, and our Buildcraft textures. If you're observant, you'll notice that they match. We did this on purpose, trying to make the mods one coherent experience, rather than a cluster of separate ones. Even in vanilla, and especially in other modded texture packs, every mod looks different. I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand it. So, no. We're not changing the IC2 textures. Sorry.
I believe the soul forge being invisible is caused by the fact that the sprite layout for that mod has changed in the latest version, but Zicamox is the one who made those textures, so I'll have to wait for him to get online to find out what versions it works with.
As for the Twilight Forest Lich towers, the last time I explored one of those was in the 1.4.2 version, so it's possible that they've added new blocks that we'll need to add to the texture pack, I'll see about at least getting the default textures in place if that indeed turns out to be the case.

Another reason for asking people to post the individual textures in the thread. Some people disagree with that notion, so it's good to be able to browse the thread for alternative textures to cut and paste.

Sorry, I can't reproduce this bug on my server.
Please make a note the beam in MP is affected by server lag, it might be the source of your problem. And make sure there is no block above the beacon
I was reporting individual items that are missing, but never get a response. So, I'm assuming I'm in the wrong forum for that. Where do I report individual missing items? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the issue isn't with Lich towers, since they're all made from (mostly) vanilla blocks. There has, however, been a WorkInProgress tower added, that's similar in design to the Lich's tower, but uses new blocks, so that's probably it. If someone has a look on a magic map for the Twilight Forest, you can go to a Lich tower, and it'll be hunky dory. There's an icon that looks like two "L"s put together or somesuch, and that's the WIP dungeon. I'll try and get some screenshots from my world where I've seen both, and I'll edit this post accordingly when I can.

I can't really say anything as to the why or how on Lich Towers, I only know that my experience matches your own (sans the maps since I haven't made any of those); invisible with JohnSmith, present with default. Rei's Minimap renders them just fine and their architecture makes them easy to recognize if nothing else, but I don't want to try exploring one without it being visible due to the lethality of the critters inside. I also found that there's at least a couple other items with no icons whatsoever from Twilight Forest, such as Charm of Keeping. There's almost certainly more if I browse through NEI, but I had assumed that folks were already aware that stuff was missing icons/textures and it was being worked on.
Either way, for now I'm just going to avoid Lich Towers until I get word that things are A-Okay! Thanks for your hard work, contributors!

Strange... I still had the same problem with today's release, so I decided to play around a bit. I opened the beam.png and copied and pasted it into a new image in photoshop. I also adjusted the brightness a bit just so the file was changed a bit. When I put the new file back in the pack and launched the game, the beacon beam now sort of works:
Thats better than nothing. It was completely missing before.

It still works fine in single player, of course
