Looks great! I like the new planks (wood?) very much.
Thanks guys!
The spruce wood is the same as before, just the planks were changed although I tweaked the plank colour a little to make them fit in better with the spruce wood so that may make it look a tiny bit different.
Currently working on the jungle planks, will post pics when it's done! Then just gotta finish the damn spawn eggs...
Ok, planks for the time being. Still not entirely happy with the jungle planks but I think all the planks are an improvement over the old ones (the birch were changed very, very slightly).
So now it's just those spawn eggs (those damn spawn eggs...) and I can release the update!
Those all look very beeutiful; a huge improvement in my opinion. They look so realistic and grainy and rustic and perfect, especially the oak ones.
Thanks! The oak are my favourite too, I think that having 3 planks per 16x block allows for the perfect amount of detail to plank ration in a 16x pack. Only reason I didn't go with three planks for all the other blocks is just to keep up the variation. Still, they came out pretty well so I'm not complaining!
Hello XSSheep! I'm still enjoying your texture pack very much. I'm loving all the changes you've been doing!
Since I am the creator of Weee! Flowers, DesertCraft, Temperate Plants, and HarvestCraft (although I doubt I have time to make alt textures for HC) I'm wondering if I would be allowed to create alternate textures for my mods in your style, using your textures as the base. With your permission, I'd like to include these modified textures in my mod ZIP files so folks can switch out between your style and Painterly Pack's (which is what I make my default textures for).
I, of course, will not be distributing any non-modified textures of your's. Also, if you happen to have any alternate textures of flowers, plants, etc just laying around, I'd love to see them as well.

Yea that's 100% fine with me! I'll have a look at your mods as well and see if there are any textures laying around that you might like to use as well. So yea, I'll just send you a PM if I find anything!
Actually, once you've done some of the re-texturing, would it be ok with you to include a link to your mod page in the OP of this thread? Would be nice to have a little section of supported mods for this pack but I haven't had too much time to work on mods unfortunately!

Sure! That'd be great. All of that sounds good to me, and I'll put you in my supported texture pack section--which I need to add now that I'll be supporting more than just Painterly's! Hehe.
Full changelog can be found in the OP and I also added the very first bit of lore for the pack. I have a fair bit more typed up already so I'll just add it in from time to time.

This is quickly becoming my favorite Resource Pack, glad to see all the updates and support.
One thing I'd like to mention--not sure if this is intentional or not, but enabling the Better Grass & Leaves Mod overwrites the custom color maps for birch and swamp tree leaves. Birch leaves turn from the red-brown you've made them to a color closer to the default birch color.
Swamp foliage gets a bit darker, but not nearly so much as the default color map. I think it looks quite nice, actually. Though the vines and tall grass stay to how you've made them, making them appear lighter in contrast.

Are you running optifine and better grass and leaves? Because I'm only running better grass and leaves so I have no idea how it affects custom colours and whatnot.
Still, if you let me know what your setup is I'll copy it and see if I can fix the problem!

Ah yes, I should have mentioned that. I am using OptiFine.
When I did testing without OptiFine, the swamp and birch color maps looked the same as that second screenshot both with and without Better Grass & Leaves Mod.

Huh ok, I don't have the problems with the different coloured grass and vines in my one but I'm not running optifine. Check around in the options and see if there's something to do with custom colours. If there is, make sure it's turned off. That *should* fix the problem. I'll write this issue down on the mod page for Better Grass and Leaves to see if we can get a fix for it so we can use it alongside the custom colours in optifine!

Yes, it seems like Better Grass & Leave Mod doesn't support custom color maps quite right, but by the looks of things that will be handled soon--good to know!
I have no issues other than that, so keep up the good work texturing.
Hope the sound files I got together and edited are alright~ C:
Yea, I really like them, just two little niggles, level up sound gets cut off right at the very end so it should probably be shortened and the door close sounds too much like you're closing the door. I know that sounds like a strange complaint but door close is randomly played along with door open for both opening and closing doors so it sounds very strange opening a door to that sound.
I'm not entirely sure on the best way of fixing that though, maybe make it sound a bit less deep and echoing? I really like the sounds though and definitely want to use them!
Thanks guys!

Oooh, looking good!
Thanks drewbs!
Thanks, glad somebody noticed some of the redone items!
I also think it's a massive improvement so it's nice to hear I'm not alone.
