Arrival of Darkness is a texture pack for those who want to have darker textures that look good yet you can still identify everything with ease.
Every texture in this pack are all done from scratch by me.
Updates I try to regularly update this texture pack but between school and a normal life I don't have much time to update. If I am able to update it will usually be around mid-day (only on weekends because I'm not on my computer until 5 unless its a day off). Be sure to check back daily for an update.
Mod support currently the mods supported in this texture pack are random mobs and connected textures. Mods supported will be added over time depending on what I mainly want but you can also suggest mods for me to support and I'll reply with a comment about my opinion.
Reviews You may wish to submit you own review. If you do PM me and I'll review the video to see if it should be featured so not many reviews will make it in.

Hmm.. looks pretty good, I have to say. I like how it doesn't change too much like a lot of texture packs these days do.
However, I wouldn't call it 'subtle'. It's not very subtle, it's actually rather obvious of the changes, especially the ores.
I think I might do some small edits to this, notably the ores, but overall I think it's pretty good.
I really like what you did with the Stone Brick, and the sand.
Some better pictures of the blocks would be a nice touch, though. Do any of the Items have different textures? Maybe you could show those, too.

Didn't see your post until now (I haven't checked this post in a bit).
I guess its not all that subtle considering that some blocks got a complete overhaul from their default (leaves for example).
Feel free to edit anything to your liking though, I just don't wan't people to download and claim it for their own (I know people would do this but I'm sure you wouldn't).
I have changed a few of the items too, but In my opinion I didn't change enough of them to try to show them off.
As for pictures, once I've stopped updating as frequently as I am now I'll get some new pictures up because in one update I may change something then change it again in the next update.

I love the pack but i just tried it out with 12w30c and it breakes on the new creative inventory, becuase it still has the old textures for the old creative menu.

I know it does that but once 1.3 is out it will be fixed because the 1.2.5 creative inventory gets messed up worse.

From what I can see, it's mostly extremely lazy texturing you've been doing. The tiling is pretty bad, and the ores are really flat. I don't know what theme/environment you're going for, but darkness mostly fits well with low saturation, in fact, too much saturation looks pretty bad no matter what. In any case, the ores are too saturated and don't fit very well with the stone at all. The glowstone stuff, looks like some cheap filterwork.
Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress and every texture is subject to change.
As far as I'm aware most textures tile fairly well (there are a few exeptions like glowstone).
As of right now the glowstone is just resized while I'm trying to figure out how I should design it to look nice and tile well.
I'll keep in mind saturation levels, trying to make things pop out at you, and making things match up (I've started doing it a bit though).

I'll get some close ups as soon as possible.
