Although you should make the stone better, nice work on everything else!
Side-note: Grass should have a bit of an outline between grass and dirt.
Thanks for the input. I've fixed the shading between the grass and dirt already. :smile.gif: Which block(s) were you referring to regarding the stone? I'd like to hear more about what you meant for making it better.
Nice TP :smile.gif: The tiling is great :smile.gif:
Thanks for noting the tiling. I've been trying to keep the tiled patterns from getting too obvious, but having such a small amount of real estate to work with makes it a bit of a challenge.
This is really nice. I like the new glowstone, but the old one was just fine in my opinion. Any chance of a divided light window? Maybe in the same style as the new glowstone?

Regarding the divided light window, I'm not sure I follow. Are you referring to putting a divider one of the glass blocks?
I grew up in an old house, so divided lights just look right and proper to me.
Thanks for the example picture. I'll see what I can do to make the glass a bit more interesting. I am thinking I may leave one of the glass blocks plain because some folks, myself included, prefer unobstructed windows. Others, such as yourself, prefer a bit more decoration. So having a choice is definitely worth exploring.
Looking nice! :biggrin.gif:
I definetly agree on the color choice: I hate the dull grey stone too!
A small suggestion: try to not overuse the smudge/blur tools, some textures look kinda blurred(the ores, for example).
Thanks! I agree on the blur tools. The ores were among the first textures I worked on because it was easy to do them all quickly and see results. :smile.gif: However, since then I think my skill has improved. So I do plan on revisiting the ores shortly to make them look better, and to make each type look different as someone else (and I am in agreement) had requested earlier.
You say your not an artis but this.. Is art to me :biggrin.gif: great job!
I appreciate the complement.
Yep, this is my first pack. I have done very basic image manipulation in the past for work, so this is by far the most involved I've had to get with a graphics project. Thank goodness I have something to work from - the default textures - and other textures I can look at for inspiration, because if I had to put together stuff from scratch I'd probably end up with a real eyesore!
Very nice! I like the way that everything tiles, but The side grass seems a bit off for this style of pack, and I would suggest adding a bit of shading to the underside of it to give some depth. Other than that, incredible work!
I made some progress tonight on the trap door, sugar cane, and wet and dry farmland. The wet farmland may need to be darkened slightly. I also messed with the various stages of wheat but was not satisfied with that, so I will probably start anew.
I also spent some time making the original post look more organized before adding a download link. :smile.gif:
I look forward to your feedback. I plan on updating this daily, so keep an eye out for new versions.

Hey crowemat000! Thanks for your input. I've already taken care of that shading on the grassside block. :smile.gif: Anything else you can share regarding why you think it's a bit off would be appreciated.

Well, the edging on it just seems not so fitting for the way everything else is paterned, I would suggest changing the shape of it just a bit to seem more like real grass would look.

Ahh okay, I understand now. And while I was looking at it I noticed that the green portion is much more pixelated than the other grass. I'll certainly be taking your suggestion into account tomorrow when I continue working on the pack. Thanks for your input!

You're welcome. I just looked over the screen shots again, and I'm impressed all over again.
Pretty much. Here's one of the results I got from a Google image search:

Great texture pack. Definitely using this once it is complete.
You have just read this. You are also manually breathing.
Many thanks! The glowstone is not intended as a reference, so if there is some resemblance it's coincidental.
Now I'm curious to see what it might look like in TF2. :smile.gif:
