yeah that's cool, as long as you link back to here so ppl can download the pack. make sure they know there is 64x 128x 256x.
but other wise use your imagination.
if you like also I can talk more in-depth about the pack. let me know.
no need since I can make the rug how ever big as I like with just the 9 parts that are in the pack right now.
but thank for the suggestion.
Cool I will make sure to state the different versions and link to this thread, just one more thing, is there any connected textures, because some authors like to show off some of the special features like that. But thats it so the video will be going up Monday.

nope I use no mods in my pack. ;-)
just make sure to turn music off in the pack. since some of the stuff has copy right.
so I currently have to make a choice, should I change hardened Clay so the Mesa Biome look more like Mesa? or leave them as is.
- It's like to choose between left and right hand. I will really miss some models from current pack, but, no matter how it will be unpleasantly, I guess it is really better to change clays, so that they will fit mesa biome. Current models are very good for structures but very alien for biomes. Too steam punky imo.
If you don't have appropriate replacement for them atm, just release it with vanilla ones for now.
1 question. Since I have not tested 1.7 yet I can't know it... Does mesa biome uses all types of colored clays or not?

ok here are a few pics, please let me know how you like the new Mesa Bio's textures. please and thanks.
- hmmm, hard to make a fast decision, but it seems that for now I find them very good and like almost all of them... maybe except the orange one. Too bright. Guess it should be more dim-muddy-brown.
this last one is how some of the Stained Glass will look. I'll post more pics later.
- not something I'd like to see. 1st - too blackout, too hard to see anything. 2nd - more simple than your previous model. 3rd - too specialized. I can imagine such windows for old abandoned factories... and that's all. I doubt that they will look good for houses, cathedrals, etc. My sugggestion - no need to "invent a bicycle". Use your previous glass model as a basis. Drop on the one model a crack you made here, some mud on another, some web on the 3rd, etc. Think this can be interesting...
So some bad new's, I was doing some work on the resource pack this evening, and had a major error,
Long story short. the error caused the 256x version of Silent Hill Resource pack to have a fatal error, and is now unreadable by Minecraft, and all other programs, so this is a bit of a set back.
Good new's isThankfully I have a backup but it wasn't up to date with the most current version. so I have more work to dooo... and some textures that need to be redesigned again, :-p
it may set things back by 1 week.. sorry all.
I'll keep you posted.
I have Survivalcraft for my android phone and was hoping you could port this awesome Silent Hill texture pack over to it so I have a great scary texture pack to play on it.
That is THE most gorgeous moon I have ever seen in my life. o_o
I'd like to take the moon out of that texture pack and use it in the other texture packs I use as well. It would be for private use only. Anyone know how I can do that and if it's allowed?
Sorry guys for not updating in the past few weeks. RL has me very busy atm, I've had to move a few times and stuff.
I'll be doing more updates very soon so please stay tuned!
256x works very well when i'm in the game, but if I close minecraft with silent hill still as the resource pack and try to restart, I cannot get mojang launcher to get to the title screen, I get an error saying I need to remove the resource pack. I remove it from the resource pack file collection, start the game, readd the resource pack and it's all good. I have to do this every single time. not sure why it does this.
Eh, shame to say, but I still didn't have enought time for testing of new changes in this pack. Hope to do it soon. But still I've got some questions:
1) mossy cobblestone. I remember that you've rejected an idea of blood on the whool, so what about mossy cobblestone? Will you stay with blood on it? I was thinking, maybe we don't need it here? Your mossy brick stones got great actual moss on them, so how about removing blood from cobblestone too and giving it real green moss? Would be great.
2) As I saw, you changed not all types of hardened clay. Is it because you will do the rest later, or because mesa biome really doesn't use all of them?
And I wanted to pay special attention to one block. Coal block. It's model is fantastic. With it's texture it is not just a block for compact storage of the coal anymore. It became a great decoration block. It fits structures with gravel, cobblestone, sandstone. I even stopped using coal as a fuel and now use only lava, because I need more such blocks. Why am I writing all this? Because I'd like to mention that this block seriously outmatches other blocks of such type (lapiz, gold, diamond, etc). Will they get new competitive models in future?
