OK so a small progress update. (no screens at the moment) I have been working on the nether a bit more but right now my creativity is just not at its peak. So I am holding off until 1.8 comes out to do more textures. Hopefully the new changes and features will inspire me a bit to get my ass into gear.
I would also like to say that I am a touch on edge. If the forum change goes through and I have to have 4 different threads for this pack, I'm out, simple as that. I am rather sick of curse and the way they run these forums. Its ludicrous and will fracture the community... I think they will also lose some of their big artists that post here... if they even care.
In any case you are all wonderful fans, and I hate to disappoint, but no where else gets good feedback and has a good community, and I hate to see that ruined by a stupid decision.
Lets make the thread busy again then! I hate what curse is saying, and i'd hate for you to leave, but sadly i'm agreeing with you. If they change the forums, i'm out. The community will be changed forever and you won't have the samme great bond with the artist's like you do now.
Now get typing witty remarks!
it will be left with smooth packs and insertnameherecraft texture packs.
This thread is not busy cause I have not done any work where as feathers is taking leaps and bounds. she is definitely winning.
i wish i had something to show, but my creative processes are fried at the moment.
You and me both! I love and hate update time, but I particularly feel drained at the moment...and especially with the way the forums look like they're going to be split, it hardly seems like it's worth the bother!
I've been feeling guilty about not having the time to visit and see what you've been doing lately, and I'm glad to say it's all looking absolutely amazing, mate. It's just comforting to know that I'm not the only one who likes a darker palette of more natural looking textures. The rest of Minecraft seems to have gone mad for Dayglo!
What we both really need is that calming cup of tea. :biggrin.gif:

OH gosh, yes please, some tea or a coffee would be perfect right now.... wait I have a coffee machine in my room... brb.
*yum
thank you for the feedback too, I wasn't too stressed about you not popping in, I realised you have had a full plate recently and saw no reason to bother you (until things calmed down haha)
I love the darker colour pallete, I have been tweaking my textures even more so lately rather than doing new ones. To get a better feel out of it. If I didn't feel like I could play all the time with my pack, I would stop making it for sure.
I would actually love to have a proper discussion about colours and technique if things ever calm down, it would be great to hear from someone with your experience (being that I have [loosely] followed your pack since it was first posted)
is that Dayglo as in a referance to light pigments, or Dayglo as in a new 32x pack? Anyway, I love the darker styled packs! The only acception's are steelfeathers and Sheep's packs, which I use when i'm feeling a bit sad.
a perfect example of what day-glo colours are right here
make it where? hahaha. and what happened to your avatar? don't tell me it was too cool for being a moderator and now you have to have something more dull?

I feel like that sometimes. I think it's the thought of all those textures you need to make, the pressure of making it for your fans really kills your inspiration... :unsure.gif:
I always did like the darker textures as well. Bright pack's make my eyes hurt... (well, depending on how bright they are...)
You should vote in the poll criticsquid made about the new forums layout too if you haven't already, so far it looks like almost everyone wants to keep the current layout! Here's hoping that they keep them the way they are. If it ain't broke, don't change it!

Hazah! :biggrin.gif:
I love the darker styled pack's too. Going spelunking with a dark pack is a much more frightening experience! At least I can say mine is bright or dark depending on which variant you try. Handy!
*cries*
faust is in my coin purse...
0_o
....You win.
as always :smile.gif:
