I don't see why you'd want this, imo the pre-halloween MC looks so much worse.
Ok...
1. You apparently didn't play back before the "Adventure Update" when the good ol' "Seecret Friday Updates" were still coming out, and don't appreciate the looks of pre-Halloween.
2. If you don't like it, why did you look for it? By being a "troll", no one will want to be your friend, and your account on the forums will end up being suspended.
Is there a way to get the original ore-block textures? You know, where one half of the block (bottom) was darker than the other?
Unlikely, since it used 3 textures, and now the block uses only one. However, IDK MCPatcher or Optifine may have this feature, but the second one ruins the old feeling.
The fire charge has a snowball texture!!!
Please fix !!!
It is supposed to have the snowball texture, because the fire charge is also the fireball the Ghast fires, and it used to be a snowball back in the day.
Dinnerbone has released an "unstitcher" tool which converts texture packs into 1.5 format. The format separates each individual block texture into its own file.[1] The "unstitcher" tool can be downloaded at http://assets.minecr.../unstitcher.jar.
Bugs :
Nether Portals come up as a static blue colour
This may be because on the 1.4 terrain.png, the portals texture is solid blue. All you have to do is remove the portal texture (portal.png, I believe) from your converted pack.
The normal pack has been updated to 1.5, and all default textures are removed from the pack, which reduces its filesize to only 169.08 KB Side note: the new lava looks like peanut butter.
Updated the Classic WIP pack to include those textures now.

.
1. downgrade
2. never update
there never have to see new textures again.
Well, unless you play on servers.
And enjoy some of the new content.
(Which I do. All of them.)

I won't, I will wait until 1.5 gets released before I update the pack.

Fine, updated all the packs now.

EDIT!!!
Here is your texture pack for 1.4 converted to 1.5!!! (Has been tested with the Snapshot version anyway!)

I used Unstitcher to convert this pack BTW!
