This texture pack is based on the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger. The setting for this one is a fantasy world RPG, with colorful fun textures.
The terrain, GUI, items and most everything is changed to reflect the style of the video game it is based on. Full credits and permissions are in the readme inculded in the download. If you like this texture pack you may enjoy the "Chrono Trigger 2300 A.D." that I've also released, or possibly some of my other texture packs.

Thanks for pointing out my failure to include that redstone texture. I think I have it fixed now. I don't use redstone much so I never noticed it myself. I also did some slight adjustments to some of the other textures for this update (wooden sword, ice, the underwater occlusion). I hope that everyone is still enjoying this texture pack.
This texture pack is still alive, I am waiting for JediJennifer to finish up with armor, mob, or elements that will be added. Then I will release a 2300AD texture pack not too long after that, which has been already mostly completed by JediJennifer. I've been working on some mods for Morrowind lately and haven't changed this pack since it's first release other than to correct the mistakes that have been noted by others. I'm glad there is still interest in this though, I really enjoy minecraft and I liked putting these textures together.
First, I want to apologize for the very long delay in updating this pack, I have no excuse really. Next now that it is ready for Beta 1.7 I need to make a request, if anyone that is still interested in seeing this pack reach a more complete state is good with creating 3D armor your help is welcome. I really want to do it myself, but unfortunately I have not had much practice in it and since JediJennifer is going to be too busy to do it, I have been reluctant to make the attempt. I am confident that if I ever get around to working it out I will be able to create some real quality armor pieces. It's just that it might be another very long delay, perhaps even until the game is in it's "Full Version" release.
Because this pack is important to me, being based on a favorite game of my childhood, the fact that JediJennifer left it in my care isn't something I take lightly. I will try to be better at keeping it up to date in the future. I also hope that the Chrono Trigger fans out there are still enjoying it as much as I do.
Well thanks for bringing it back up to date. The bed made me think of the very first moment you gain contol ingame and made me realize something. MC NEEDS CURTAINS NAO!!!! I will download it so I can have the 1.7.3 pack for later(especially if I hate the adventure update and refuse to update), but as for now, I r busy with college, and picking mc back up during college never ends well. Sorry.

No one using a creeper avatar has ever posted anything worth reading.
Fact.
Its good, but for some reason, it dosent look finished, like the armor and clock. I updated the game with the HD patcher, but I still get the same effects. Especially since the clocks dial is pink.
@ VlaDDrakkeN I can't explain the problem of the clock. The clock is an exact copy of the one in the default textures. I don't have any glitches when I use it in-game. I don't know if it is a conflict with HD patcher (which I don't use, because I only use 16x16 textures) or whatever it may be.
In regards to the armor, it is unfinished, I have the icons completed as to how I plan to have the armor look. But, as I have posted in a previous post, I'm not sure when I will have them working on the character. Thank you everyone so much for your downloads, and for enjoying my texture pack, it means so much to me.
Okay main complaint: how do those chests relate to chrono trigger?
It might be cuz of the way i did things, but try looking at the desert shrubs, I see some weird pink lines by them. Other than it looks good.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I fixed the shrub, I never noticed that so thanks a bunch. Now as for the chest, in Chrono Trigger when you are sent to Guardia prison, the chests look like that. The singular chest is almost identical, the double chest has the same basic look. I just liked that particular chest and it is found in the 1000 A.D. timeline.
The cobblestone, purple brick, dirt, and gravel textures are all from the graphics package included in RPG Maker 2000/2003 by Enterbrain/RPG Tsukuru...
for reference.
I noticed as soon as I saw it because I used these textures to make a texture pack for my own personal use a long time ago. They actually look pretty neat.
(since the only way to own this software in North America is illegally, no citizens outside of Japan can have a license to use these graphics for any purpose, just FYI.)

Wait what? Rpgmaker is illegal? How about 2k? Or games that come with a sort of "read only" version of it?
EDIT: Also Prexus, I suspect your second image needs spoilers...

Here are other texture packs which I have created:
I'll be checking this thread daily.
Again, thank you for your observation, and for bringing this to my attention.
*This has been fixed*
So much work and so little appreciation bothered me so I thought I'd show some appreciation.
Thanks again!
Such a great texture pack as well.
I never thought the universe made much sense.

image of my texture pack for reference of course
Ah, I'll look that chest up later, the one I think of for 1000 AD is the first chest you ever see in the game. The one in the mayors house.
