Yo Scuttles, got a suggestion.. just tell me to stfu if it sounds retarded. You're the expert and I'm not exactly sober. Is it possible to add more weight to the vines in the jungles? I switched to the default pack once after using the Photo Realism pack a loooong time to look at jungles. In the default pack they have this really thick, heavy vegetation feel to them that make them stand out as a biome. The elements all look there in the current build of your pack but the biome seems to lack that heavy vegetation feel as you go by and through it. To me it seems like the vines but I may be off.
I'm sorry if this a stupid question, but for the black screen fix, would I download the JRE or the JDK? Also, how do I download using MD5 (I'm pretty sure the downloads in the link are MD5 encryptions)?
I think the terrain generator should make big billboards, at least one per chunk, that advertise various things like Cheetos or Dr. Pepper. Would really improve gameplay.
Hey, I was just wondering, are you able to change the hunger bar textures? I noticed that they were the default in the 256x256 and not sure about the others, but it seems that it is the only non-updated or realistic thing in this texture pack. And On that note, Very good job with this texture pack, It is one of my favorites!
I don't think I've ever posted here yet, but I wanted to thank you for your hard work and dedication to the updates. I've been using the textures for some many months now and still really enjoy it, thank you for adding new life into a great game!

Hey Scuttle muffins. Hope everything has been good, miss chattin' with you. I have now made it to the top of Lord of the Craft as head webdesigner for there site and forums lol. Been rockin' your pack since day one. Keep on doing what you do best. Best of luck!
Probably shouldn't have been streaming a 1080p video of Mass Effect while doing this, though. Oops...
Edit:
Updated. Hopefully no issues.
Looks lovely! Can't wait for any further tweaks, but I'm good waiting, too. Luls on the ME stream....ME3 demo is awesome, right? Oh...and you asked for an opinion previously on the redstone lamp blocks. You know what they say about opinions, but here goes doll....they looked a lot more red/stained glass in the image you posted here...in game, for some reason, they look a lot more orange/blackish, which seems to wash out the beauty of the stained glass look you had goin there....I was excited to see them and had planned on using them for a stained glass effect on cathedrals, castles, etc, but imo i honestly dunno if they will quite work as planned now, they look different?! Oh, and, uhm, forgive me but the new block with the circle thingies on it....i hate them. I'm sorry but I do think you are looking for honest opinions...forgive me if I am blunt, it kinda comes natural...>.<....they are the one thing in this pack that looks like something out of the ewwy yucky pixelated default. >.< I can't bear to use them...do you have any plans to change them at a later date, when you feel like tinkering with them (if u do?)?. And so sad on the lily pad flowers, lol....oh wells! Least I know I dont have to waste time beating them with bonemeal, rofl!
Thanks again for all your lovely work. I hope my comments do not offend, I LOVE your texture pack....I admire your work very much. Its is the BEST texture pack I have come across yet, and all my pals that play on my server had to have it once they saw my pics of their builds, luls. xD Thank you, Scuttles, for making Minecraft beautiful for us!!
Its a fairly good realistic texture pack however most blocks look like colorful sand from a distance. Also the diamond block seems to look a bit too much like stone.Im pretty sure in both real life and in most fictional worlds people think of diamonds as shiny so im not used to seeing a blue rock as diamond

My conclusion:
-1024x may not be possible to run
-768x is very possible to run.
-I think 768x is for people who have a good gaming rig with mid to high end graphics card with at least 1GB video memory
-Optifine and a batch file that allocates at least 2GB RAM is a MUST.
That's what I figured. I'll keep many of the textures as 1024x for future use in potentially other games or for the unlikely scenario that Minecraft becomes more efficient.
I can't wait until I have 500+ layers and end up with a Photoshop document of almost 2GB. =(

I'll see what I can do. I had one of those nights recently as well. XD

I did change them more to the yellow area of the spectrum to give it a more passive light source instead of a demonic glow box. I tried make it have a more general use to it such as a lamp, chandelier, or streetlight. I was fairly oblivious to the uses outside of a light source (as in your case, stained glass). The "unlit" does seem a little off, but the lit I'm almost happy with, imo. We'll see where it goes in future updates.
The new blocks will be changed relatively soon. I just didn't know what to do with them as their purpose was quite mysterious when I was researching them.
I'm quite glad you love the pack and I really appreciate the honest critique. =)
At one point in time, I got irritated with the idea of shovels essentially "hitting" dirt to dig it up. I just never bothered to rotate them back to default. I may do that someday.

The grain issue you're having is the lack of texture filtering in default Minecraft. I highly suggest using Optifine and enable the "mipmapping" in the options to about level 2.
I have a few reasons as to why I went with that diamond. Natural diamond is very transparent so the blue rock is actually my attempt at having the diamond being transparent all the way to the stone behind it. I also stuck with blue, as in default Minecraft, for the sake of simplicity. I couldn't do the typical clear diamond that I wanted to as the weapons and tools would no longer be transparent because of the game's limitations.
Let me start by saying; I love this texture pack! But When I use it my letters are really spaced out in the chat bar, and in any other GUI I use.
Is there a reason behind this or whats going on? I use Optifine, thats the only modification I use regularly, but I highly doubt that Optifine is the problem.
Any suggestions or help?
[Edit] Also, On the second line after 8 characters it splits onto a third line in chat.
Is anyone else getting this transparency problem when they switch render distance to small or tiny? It does not appear to happen with normal or far render distance though. I am using the latest version of MCPatcher and texture pack LB 256x256.
it is nice
Your Loots
BTW. The font is a little messed up, so I hope you work a little bit more on that.
Anyway, Kudos to ya!

I do not add the mobs to those resolutions because I use Misa's mobs for this pack. I simply love her mobs and she's given me permission to use them.

Haha, wow! That's a name I haven't seen in ages!
Congrats on the webdesigner, chief.

Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
Yes it does. I am using it right now.
