I polished the text a bit more and I'm quite pleased with it. The ONLY thing I can think of that is left to do for the Photo Realism pack is the food bar. I just don't have any good ideas for that yet.
I really wished that I hadn't spend 10+ hours on the font. Perfectionism is hell sometimes. =(
The pack missing 2 textures from being 1.1 compatible. I can tell you that I'm currently running it with the GLSL shaders and optifine on my computer just fine. I installed optifine first and then GLSL. I'm not sure if Modloader is compatible with those mods, to be honest. Try without it perhaps?
This is not the texture packs problem. This is an issue GLSL shaders has on some graphics cards. See thread for possible solutions.
Well, the hunger bar always resembled chicken legs to me, maybe high quality chicken legs? Also, the oxygen bar always seemed sort of plain to me. Maybe consider a nice big blue bubble instead of the neutral white circle.
Edit: Also, i'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but in the 128x pack, the spider eye and rotten flesh don't have high res textures, whereas the 256x variants do.
You are supposed to put 'terrain_nh.png' and 'terrain_s.png' in the LB Photo Realism pack folder, not minecraft.jar.
I'll think about a rework. I know I'm going to touch up the swords so I may do it then.
Should be easy enough. I can easily add in a deeper blue for a higher contrast.
Thank you. =)
I always would love suggestions. =)
I have considered using a burger/sandwich for the texture, but it didn't seem to fit in with the other aspects of a pack that is almost rustic. I think what I'm planning to do is something around Misa's concept. I could use my bread texture or create a new one and get a nice HD food bar with that. Unfortunately, that will make me want to change the health/armor bars as well.
I am aware and I have fixed it in the update coming today. Certainly was a mistake that I had overlooked for quite some time. I thought people were using the latest version when they complained. XD
Interesting. A new oxygen bubble is added to the to-do list.
I'm not sure what the connected textures mod is, to be honest. So I would assume there is not, lol
Then I get to move on and start making jungles beautiful. =)
Edit:
Post if I screw up something. I usually do. XD
I also added a few things that were still default as well as HD font. :wink.gif:
Nice! also you forgot the changelog :tongue.gif: Nvm was looking at the wrong one!
Edit: I really like what you did with the font. It really rounds the pack out well.
Wonderful texture pack!
Edit: Pretty sure I fixed it, sorry. I made the memory changes to Java, but didn't change to 2048MB when patching HD textures.
All of the text appears this way.
I'm not sure why, because all of the text inside of the Font file is completely normal.
When I installed the x16 pack, it worked just fine, but the x32 one is busted.
I went inside of the texture pack and deleted the font file, and now everything works perfectly, just with Minecraft's normal font.
But seriously this pack is beyond epic, please keep up the great work!
