Apparently re-installing Minecraft might fix the white box issue. Make sure you backed up your minecraft saves if you're re-installing or deleting your .minecraft folder. Back your saves up properly or else they will be gone forever and ever :mellow.gif:
i allready do that two times
always the same thing i don't know why :sad.gif: and i only play on Multiplayer :wink.gif:
Did you use the most recent HD patcher version?
If that doesn't work then I have no clue how to help you and you should probably ask Phantom, Scuttles or Pazaz :ohmy.gif: good luck.

Now that my side project is coming to a close I can focus back on this pack. I have tons of new ideas for this pack and I'm hoping it works out for me. I'll keep you guys posted as I figure things out.
yes i use the most recent i use this one https://github.com/downloads/pclewis/mcpatcher/mcpatcher-2.1.0_02.exe
in order i everything in .minecraft i launch the .exe log in, DL the game from, close it once it start, patch it place the .zip in the folder and after i get some white box instead of item.
What are some of your specs? The new 1.6 update was poorly coded so many people had to downgrade a resolution due to the huge excess of strain in the memory.
my specs is 4 giga ram DDR3
dual core 2.2 Ghz
nvidia 9800 GT 1024Mo DDr3
sorry if i answer bad i don't know what you tell specs ( i'm french and poor in english )
Hmmm... Do you have a 64bit computer? You may want to take interest into 64bit Java in that case. You seem to have adequate stats for this texture pack, though.
Man I used to be able to run 256 with 5.0.0 on my secondary pc but now only 128 compressed runs. I even tried using the old 5.0.0 pack but no go. I wonder what could have changed? I guess I just have to keep messing with mem settings.

1.6 Minecraft update is much more memory intensive so it basically multiplies tenfold when you take into consideration massive texture packs. =(
I'm hoping 1.7 will be more refined and polished so we don't run into issues again.

Thats what I figured but I could have sworn I had was running 1.6 too. Actually, now that i think about it, I had to have because it was still set on 5.0.0 when I ran it up but it was updated to 1.6.6 anyway. Eh, whatever, I hope 1.7 is better as well but "Adventure Update" doesn't sound too technical to me...
Can someone help? I've tried everything, but I still get the white boxes for the flame particles, and the items.png. does anyone else have a way to fix that? Because I've really been wanting to use this texturepack for a while.
Wow this is amazing! I can't believe it really haha it's just fantastically awesome in so many ways! I have respect for the makers of this now! amazing!!!
I'm having trouble running this pack at a decent framerate.
I've loaded it up, and all of the textures are working properly, (ie. its running). But whenever Its loaded the game crawls, i'm getting like 2 fps.
Now, before people say its a performance issue, and I cant run some texture packs, etc.
I can run other 256x texture packs perfectly fine at 70fps.
I can run aza's pack, and sanguine's 128x pack perfectly fine.
The 256x version of this pack gets better fps than the 128x version
(256 gets 10-11fps, 128x gets 2-3fps)
I'm using the latest version of MCpatcher, and again, it installs other texture packs perfectly fine.
I've installed it on a vanilla download of minecraft.
I've also ran this texture pack before, on this same computer a few patches ago, and it ran at 70fps, give or take.
If I hit f3, then hit Escape to go to the menu, my FPS jumps back up to where its supposed to be, until I close the menu, then it drops like a rock. Again, only with this and CGO's pack, so far.

Hi, I have done everything that has been suggested everywhere! :/ I'm still receiving the Minecraft has run out of memory error. I have assigned to java 768M currently.
I'm now running Java 7 because of the post about how to assign java more memory.
My computer Specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
4GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium
32-bit Operating System
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT
PLEASE HELP ANYONE! :'(
I'm trying to run the LB Photo Realism x256 texture pack.
I got the 256x of this to work and, the computer handles it fine. The problem i seem to have is that most of the items in game aren't showing up. instead they are white blanks, i may be the only person that has this problem because i have not found anything on this problem so far. just figured id ask you guys in the forums instead.
Look into the mipmapping mod or the GLSL shaders mod. =)
Other than that, just wait and pray Notch changes his mind about texture filtering.
I've installed the mipmapping mod but it does nothing. The GLSL shaders mod either doesn't like me or I'm not doing something right. Everytime I go into full screen the game is all warped and stuff lol.
My version is 1.6.6, i downloaded and startet the MCPatcher, Selected "HD Texture" and "HD Fonts" and pressed patch. after it was done patching i put the x64 texture (as a .zip) in the "texturepacks" folder (on Mac). Then started MineCraft and went into "mods and texture packs" selected the "LB Photo Realism", the picture was gray andnothing happend.
What do i do???

Who says you can give away our support? :sad.gif:

The x64 may be for you then. =)
You have to admit, we probably are the greatest IT group on these forums. ^^

It does take a heavy toll on the memory so I'd try the x128 if you want to record with it smoother.

Yes? I'm not sure what you're trying to say. =S
