Presentation:
The goal of this pack is to create a good looking texure pack in 16x16. To accomplish this, the textures are not so detailed, but are made to fit well together with many of the same kind. The pack have some fresh colours and a modern look to it. I have tried to make textures fit well together with others of it's kind and make good basic block colours, that will make large creations and pixelart shine. I hope you will try it and tell others if you like it, tell me if there's something you don't.
If you make a texture pack for distribution and would like to use some of my textures, that's allright, as long as you credit me and don't ask for donations for your pack.
I might create a 32x32 version as well, though I think 16x16 is challenging and fun. After all it's 256 pixels to work with for every texture :smile.gif:
Credits and changelog:
Aviencraft v0.6 for Minecraft 1.7x
--------------------------------------------
- Fixed textures for cobble stones and stone bricks.
- Reworked: Wooden door, cobble stone, melons, crops, diamond armor
v0.61 for Minecraft 1.7.x
- Quickfix: fixed the dispenser block, reverted the saplings back to original Minecraft saplings.
v0.60 for Minecraft 1.7.x
- Fixed up the grass.
- Changed name to Aviencraft and went back to proper version names.
- Went back to 1.7 iron.
v.1.7.2
- New cobble stone, this one I borrowed from Jolicraft. I hope he is ok with that, very nice skin, darkened a bit, to fit the theme.
- The nether rack has been subject to many changes the last versions. Maybe I got it right this time? Dark red, reminds me a bit of hindberrys.
- Brand new iron, ok this one is up for discussion. I think I will change it later, but it's better than the old one I think.
- Brand new grass, fresh and pleasant. And compatible with biomes, so it will change, depending on where you are on the map.
v.1.7
- Made brown wool a light café latte brown, like the sheep ingame. Maybe this can make brown wool more popular? For dark brown, use logs instead
- Made purple to look indigo and magenta to look violet because I like these colours. Besides they are in the rainbow, so it feels right to have them in the game.
- Made pink more like the original Minecraft pink, because I noticed people like to use this colour for skin. People look heavyly sunburnt with the magenta tone I applied in last version! There is a link to the old pack in the forum thread, if you want it back.
- Other blocks tweaked: Sand, Lightstone, Nether rack, pumpkin and glowing pumpkin.
v.1.6.6
Another update, just to make the pack work. But I did make you guys an indigo bed :smile.gif:
v1.5
- No big news this time around, hence the name. I just tweaked the file, to fit with Minecraft 1.5. Thanks for the feedback guys, I wouldn't be doing this without you!
v1.3
- Changed version name, to follow Minecraft version.
- Added Notch's new blocks.
- Added "Wildgrass mod" textures (not sure if necessary anymore).
- Snow is whiter.
- Blue wool is bluer, red is redder, white is whiter and so on. I think all colours add a little extra pinch right now!
- Added proper pink, instead of light red.
- New lapis lazuli block, not sure, you guys like it?
v0.50
- New textures from 1.2 patch added
- Created new blocks for all wool colours.
- Created new lightstone block
- Remade the ores.
- Added painterly pack armours.
v0.403
-Fixed the clouds again. They became bugged after the patch 11. november.
V0.402
-Fixed support for the ingame texture loader.
v0.401
- Fixed compass and watch.
v0.4
- Added Notch's halloween blocks
v0.32
- New flowers
- Fixed mushrooms
- Reworked clouds
v0.31
- Most of the skins have been reworked.
- Gold, diamond, iron, coal, redstone, brick, crafting bench have recieved special attention.
- Decided to put redstone torches back to default skin.
- Borrowed interface menus from Doku's RPG pack.
v0.3
- Decided to go down in texture resulution, to support animated fire and water. Also now supports Brick and gold blocks. Will increase texture size again, if Notch fixes hifg resolution texture support.
- Due to this, many textures needed to be reworked.
- Made brand new textures for brick, steel door and crafting table.
v0.2
-Made new textures for chest, wooden door, TNT, wooden planks, wood, tree, and unlit redstonebulb.
-Tweaked the colour balance of 14 borrowed textures.
-Tweaked the texture centre for the building rock and building rock with moss.
v0.1
-Copied numerous textures from other packs, mostly from "Browncraft" and "Brocklehurst's Faithful Hi-Res Texture Pack", check those out, if you havn't!
-Made new textures for clouds, doors and spiderweb.

I've been using it for a few hours now, and I must say this is by far the ONLY texture pack I actually like. I've used default up until now. (And I've been playing Minecraft since July last year or so :tongue.gif:)
Oh wow, what a great pack! I have to say my favorite is the wood planks, they're wonderful and they don't stand out like a sore thumb like so many other packs' wood does. Good job! Hope to see more of your stuff!

Thank you sir, this is what keeps me going into the late morning hours. I must say the wood planks came out nicely myself :smile.gif:
