Hey guys. I haven't gotten any good requests for a while in my Badass Skins thread, so I started a new project making some role-play skins. I'm making factions and classes. If you'd like to suggest a class or even a new faction, this is the thread to do it in, and I'll put it together for you to use!

i've got another idea of something you could do, a ranger class.
also i checked out your skins on planet minecraft and they are freakin awesome. Diamonds for your efforts
I love your skins, You should make an order of the creeper! or Lapis ! Or Adminium! Or Nether! :huh.gif: My brain is barfing. :biggrin.gif:
Trying to keep it to just a few primary colors. Already have blue and red, so no lapis or nether. It has been suggested that I add a dark/black, but I was thinking more along the lines of "The Obsidian Fists" or something.
Amazing, Disciples of the slime has the nice cultish feeling to it. Have you ever though of making a texture pack for this too? Or are you only amazing at skins?
IT would kind of blend with the Rogue type idea, but since you have knights and battlemages ,you should bring in Archers and possibly priests(But then they would look similar to battlemages, most likely.)
Hmmmm... Not sure how I feel about 'barbarian' - I'm trending towards more of a medieval theme, and I feel as though Barbarians would break the trend. A Priest or Cleric, maybe, but then they would probably look very similar to the Battlemage, wouldn't they?

I have a texture pack already started, but it's quite an endeavor and takes a considerable amount of work. It'll be a long while before I publish it, especially because I do focus more on my skins.

Archers are a definite, and will be different than the Rogues. Priests I'm considering, but not really sure about the execution and how to make them different than the Battlemages, you know? Because really, you could just call the Battlemage skin a Cleric, Priest, or Monk if you wanted to.
love the skins so ima taking one owe you something now though :? great skins have a diamond
EDIT: also I'm not sure but the creeper skin was not named char.png when you use that as your skin (and of these) put it in mob delete the char.png that's there and rename your new skin char.png (sorry if its hard to understand)
True enough ,but in most games I see monks vary from priests or the like because they have more of a martial-esque clothing rather then robes, which could always be another consideration.

I do not think you know how to use skins properly. The name of the file has nothing to do with it at all. If you are installing skins directly into your minecraft.jar, then know that I do not make skins for pirated accounts. Legitimate users can use my skins regardless of the filename without any issue at all.

Perhaps. I'll put more thought into it if/when the time comes. For now, I have rogues, rangers, and archers to make.
How about "Knights of the Square Table" I have no idea what they would look like, although I would imagine something along the lines of Templars.
I'm trying to stick to main color groupings - that is, I don't want to have three groups that are all green-based, or two different red-groups, so that they are easy to tell apart from each other. I'm considering such new factions as black/purple (obsidian), orange (pumpkin?) and perhaps brown (earth?)
Also, I'm trying to keep them all human-shaped, so no elves/dwarves/pigmen/creeper variants. I'm also making them all without faces, so that roleplay-server users can simply put their own faces onto them to tell each other apart and have some variety between themselves, while still keeping to a uniform faction 'look'.

Blood Oak Academy
Perhaps. I was thinking something of a rogue, bandit, or theif. At the end of the day, it's really just a 'stealth' class.

I actually did one based on this style of skin, but have decided not to include him in this particular line. You can view and download him here.
Checking already gives you 25% addiction.

No elf skins, but you may have just named my 'brown/earth' faction.
