I just want to hear exactly ONE good reason why we shouldn't have an option to disable Hunger.
Just

Because the focus of Survival mode is to Survive. And you cannot survive without food. And anyway, you can't starve to death unless you are on Hard, on Easy it stops going down at 5 hearts, and on Normal it stops at 1/2 of a heart, so it's really not a big deal.
Before my attempt at a reason I will say that I support it being an option and always have. I am merely posting because you submitted a challenge.
My reasoning is that it may finally show people that the game is not and will not ever be the exact game people want it to be and that people need to deal with it like they do with all other games.
That being said, I will once again state that it should be optional.

I didn't know people didn't like the idea of not being able to toggle hunger.
I certainly am fine with it.
I love hunger so I'll be keeping it, but if it is off I do think that we shouldn't be able to stack food any longer.

Because in general I'm not exactly supportive of the current mindset that everything in minecraft should be picked at and selected how each player wants. This attitude is seems to only apply to minecraft and no other game in existence.
Could you imagine players of any other game sitting there pouting and saying 'I don't want enemies in this area' or, 'I think we should have infinite Mana to go through the game as easy as possible'? And not only say those things, but expect the developer to actually cave to their demands?
There is something to be said about having a consistent game experience for players. If my minecraft normal mode has hunger and yours doesn't then we aren't even on the same difficulty any more are we?
"points at HALO REACH MULTIPLAYER TU" other games are giveing people tons of options on how the game can be played, Halo's TU once CEA comes out will allow people to play multiplayer like reach or like the original halo if you so chose, and the sims series has tons of options in game for players on how they want to play the game.
the whole gameing industry gives players tons of options on how they want to play, why should this game be any differnt?

Certain things are fine to have toggable. Ever played Halo? It's nice having those toggable skulls. It'd be pretty damn gay if those skulls were always present.

This and food is EVERYWHERE now.
If hunger is optional, then it should be how it was before, with old animal spawning code and only pigs drop food.
I agree, that option should be added. But it won't be.
Uh, pretty sure it does? Unless it's been changed since 1.8.1.
Zombiecraft Maps!
Peaceful. Creative.
PROCESSING REASON....
Error: Peaceful does not have Mobs
TRY AGAIN, HAVE A NICE DAY
Except that removes hostile mobs on one and the other makes you God...

It does, but in peaceful mode, the hunger regenerates faster than it's depleted.

Well, you never said anything about mobs...

uselessannoying featuresthats no a reason why it shouldnt be toggleable
If I wanted to just build, I'd play creative. I like 1.8. I just don't like Hunger. I don't want it removed, I just want it toggable.
