We dug it up from his island. It was... meticulously buried if it was made by a player. We thought it was a stronghold but it was just that gold and the little shrine looking thing. Not many people have had access to the island and it's pretty far out.

They established they were trying to find out if it was real or not - not that they had made it. They only claimed to have found it and wanted to ensure if it was generated authentically or player made.

As for the thread maker, it looks really awesome but the others are correct in that it was player made. I must say that whoever did make it put a lot of detail into making it well concealed. They may have left it as a gift? I know I hide presents on my server sometimes.

That was the goal! Gave us a starting point for when we reset the server. Since then only ... four buildings out of that survived.
