Hello, first let me say 2 thumbs up, this, as well as cube modding, is awesome. I am a modder myself, as you can tell from my banner, I am working on a mod that I am hoping will be original and successful. But I have hit a road block. To get to the point quickly borderlands 2 has tons of guns, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get a gun to work. Can you possibly do a tutorial on making guns? Thanks for your time and considerations,
- Matt
(also, if you have time could you check out my mod and tell me what you think? Its still under heavy stages of development and only has a few things created so far but your opinion would still be very valued. Thanks).
Where am i supposed to put all this code into? I'm really confused
You have to
1) Set up MCP. There are plenty of tutorials on line, and a basic one in my post
2) Download Eclipse (Link in the post)
3) Open Eclipse and make the workspace <MCP/Eclipse>
4) Create a new class file (File < New Class>
5) Label the class 'mod_modname'.
6) Use the code I have on the post.

first off, I love Borderlands 2 xD
Guns have gotten a lot harder recently, but I think I can still do it.
hey quick question..
Ive started a mod that adds a structure into the world generation code and that works just fine. however it takes one line of code for every block i want it to place and causes considerable lag with world generation. it is quite a large structure and i was wondering if there was a code hook with modloader that would import a mcedit schematic or something? is this even possible? any help is apreciated. thanks

There is no way to currently USE a .schematic, but you can upload it to MCEdit and export it, and there are also many helpful tools for converting schematics over to .java (Although they dont support Randoms)
I got it to work, thanks!
No problem, glad to help
