I can't open my minecraft.jar or my MacBook Pro, need advice. What should i do? With more Fun questions! I checked the consle for error messages, there were no error messages.
I suppose you are running Lion, you need a free AppStore App called the Unarchiver which you will need to "unzip" the minecraft.jar.
Hope this helped, but next time be sure to post in Modding Discussion, not released mods ;D
Thanks, but:
1: How did you know that?
2: My MacBook pro is currently broken
3: I'll try and see if it works.
Thanks!
PEOPLE, THIS IS MY FIRST TOPIC, SO I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TOPICS!!
I'm new to this site, i've only been on once (a few months ago)...
So I don't know much about topics, give me a freaking break.
LOOK BEFORE YOU POST!!!
My MacBook Pro is currently in service because it was broken, so I got an oppurtunity to do all the stuff you said and reccomended, I will. I decided to add fun polls for, erm, fun!

Did I mention mention it was my dad's computer? MY computer is in service, as well.
1. Go to Google.
2. Type in: Minecraft Jar tool
3. Download the tool.
4. Open the tool
5. (OPTIONAL-RECOMMENDED) Backup your jar (Will be saved to the desktop)
6. Open the .jar (Will be opened on desktop as 'MCTMP'
7. When you're done close the file by pressing ''Recompile Now''
8. You are DONE!
I used the unarchiver once and My whole minecraft shut down. I use the steps above instead
It's not THAT hard people?

Delete everything on your hard drive, it's the only way to be sure.
Alternatively, right click -> open with -> archive utility
Thanks for the info...
