I'm not exactly a Youtuber (I have less than 5 subscribers!), but love watching lets play and all kinds of Minecraft videos, and am looking to help out any of you who need it.
I run a smaller multiplayer server, and if any of you are interested in collaborating on a co-op video together or something like that, I would be happy to upload any worlds etc you guys would want (adventure maps etc., anything really) and you could play on it or whatever.
It's a 24/7 dedicated located somewhere in LA, with no lag whatsoever. If you're interested in using it with other people for videos etc. then feel free to send me a message and we can work things out!

That's quite the offer sir! :biggrin.gif: I will have to get it touch with you about that :3
hi my name is alex, im 19 and from Northern Ireland :smile.gif: I would love you to love at my channel and give me tips if you have any. i only have like 8 subs :sad.gif: i have done other videos before but not minecraft. i have made one minecraft video at the minute and will but putting up at least 3-5/6 videos a week. here is a link to my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/amazinalex92?feature=mhee please take a look at it :smile.gif:
Hope you enjoy it :smile.gif:
PROS:
You have an awesome voice :biggrin.gif:
Your mic sounds great, Alex, a good sound quality (if just a bit quiet, but you can fix that by using audacity :biggrin.gif:)
You had a good render quality (even if it was very laggy, I had worse looking renders in my first vids)
CONS:
It was quite laggy. Not to be harsh, Alex, but the average viewer doesn't want to sit through that when a lot of people will give them vids with little to no lag. Try installing optifine or another such mod or try to get a desktop. I know buying a whole new computer sounds insane, but that's exactly what I did.
The commentary was decent, but a bit dry because of your lack of voice inflection. You need to try hard to sound excited/angry/silly/whatever emotion you're displaying (I still work on this one, it's tough). It's like acting, you have to exaggerate EVERYTHING haha.
Overall Impression:
You should continue with your videos. I know I figured out a lot about my channel and recording just by doing it and constantly trying to improve. If you have that drive, you will likely do the same :smile.gif:
Hey guys, I'm Mr13p, here and on youtube. Currently I have 23 subs, so I'm not quite in your margin. Maybe one day I'll be though. Recently I've had a ton of homework and being sick, so I haven't made any videos for two weeks. On the bright side, I'm back and here's my latest minecraft video. enjoy:)
I would really like feedback as well. Btw, I'm using a new editing program so there's a tiny bit of oddities. Nothing to big, but episode 2 is fixed for the better.
PROS:
Awesome video quality! Waaaay better than I had when I started haha :smile.gif: Consider any texture packs such as the faithful 32x32 pack? I feel they give something "special" to your channel. Like your own flavor of MC.
The concept of building your house in a shroom is awesome :biggrin.gif:
Your audio is crisp and clean sounding. That's pretty important!
CONS:
You do well on the voice inflection, but there are still improvements to be made. Believe it or not, you don't want to get into a "rhythm" with your voice. That gets monotone! Try hard to mix it up, it will make it more exciting.
Try to get more things accomplished (much harder in a 6 min vid, but it can happen). You want to pack as much doing into your time as possible. Have a clear plan before hitting that record button! (I'm guilty of this too tbh)
Overall:
You should 100% keep this up. You have the potential for a great channel and a fanbase of your own!! Learn as much as you can and make some friends here on this forum :smile.gif: Don't be shy asking for tips either haha. I would definitely recommend this channel to people!
Hope you Enjoy -
If you ever want to play together, my skype is Dylan.Hellman2.
Also I'm 17. haha.
PROS:
Good video quality. That's a huge plus right there :tongue.gif:
Good topic, a lot of people are playing 1.8, but not a lot are doing an overview type of video. It's always good to go somewhere a little different than the rest of the crowd.
Crisp mic quality, your voice can be well heard! Not to mention you have a sexy voice :wink.gif:
CONS:
Audio quality can be improved. I have some tips: use audacity and watch a tutorial on noise removal. It will completely erase that hum you're getting! :biggrin.gif:
You should possibly try reading up a lot on the updates before making vids. IDK, this one is kinda touchy. I realize that some people enjoy watching a "first impressions" type of video, but many viewers like when the commentator is very well informed.
Try for more inflection in your voice. You have a great sounding voice and a decent mic, put some air through it! Haha :smile.gif: If you're excited, exaggerate it! If you're pissed off? Rage hard! Just overdo it (a little bit haha) and you'll probably be nailing it. :biggrin.gif:
Overall:
It was a fun watch, but audio things can make it seem very dragged out. Try hard to pack as much energy as possible into the commentary :biggrin.gif:
Hello everyone i believe this is my second post on a count of my first post being pointless i decided i would remake it in hopes of getting feedback. Before the episode i should say some stuff i guess :tongue.gif: first off my name Brian and im 17 and ive been making videos for about 3 months now with almost 100 videos and about 22 subs. Well here the first episode of my minecraft lets play ( up to 16 now)
Hey, i am Jack from Delta Trolls, a new series hoping to get off the ground!
After many delays, we got the first episode out, which is just us settling in (next episode we show our finished base and go to the cave!)
Thansk for opinions!
PROS:
Excellent commentary. Reminds me a lot of yogscast. It was quite entertaining to watch :smile.gif:
Awesome video quality. There wasn't any major lag or anything despite it being SMP.
CONS:
You can probably improve what you're going to do in the ep by doing a dry run. There were times you guys seemed just a little lost as to what to do :smile.gif:
Overall:
I would definitely recommend that people sub you. Your channel is great stuff tbh :biggrin.gif:

PROS:
Good audio quality. You didn't have any annoying mic buzz etc.
Very good video quality. No lag to speak of; that's just what people want.
You do multiple games on your channel, this is important to diversify your viewership!
CONS:
Remove the letterboxing from your vids. This can be done with a quick google search of your editing program.
You need more inflection in your voice. Don't talk like you're talking to yourself; speak as though you were telling an epic tale to one of your mates!
Overall:
Keep up your vids, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Fix the minor issues and promote the heck out of your channel!! :biggrin.gif:
My friend and I have just started our youtube channel for minecraft, so we don't have heaps of subscribes yet or anything but check out our videos, we do custom maps, general info as well as the occasional cinematic :smile.gif:
check out our latest video and channel below, cheers :smile.gif:

Hey Everybody I'm Zez and I was wondering if you could take a look at the video below. I have been doing Let's Plays for almost a year now and I have got about 200 subs. Regardless of that I don't get many views so I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on how to get better at doing this. If you would like more examples then here is my channel but regardless thanks for taking a look
I'm not exactly a good Let's Player. I'm brand new at let's playing, started in late august. I'm working hard to improve my videos but since no one watches them, I don't know what to improve. (Other than me sounding bored or tired as hell.)
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
Wow! A ton of posts overnight! I won't be able to get to feedback until much later :tongue.gif:
My internet is down atm, I'm using my phone to post this haha. Anyways, I'd be happy to finish the feedback on ALL the vids once I get internet again :laugh.gif:
Hello there ballinutbas! You might be asking, why is this kid even trying?! He seems so immature in most of his videos! Well i can assure you one thing, you want me to be mature in videos? Just ask, because i'm one of the most mature 14 year old teenagers out there. I can both be mature and immature, it only depends in what mood i'm in, and the theme of the situation. So i'm the best of both worlds! Just interview me and find out what i'm all about mate! I strongly suggest that you interview me before you take your final decision!

It was one of the most serious, hardcore and populated rp servers out there. And i created it. And yes, i wrote everything on that thread myself.
I try to be very active here on the MC forums to boost the views of my channel, but I realize that the only real way to grow as a youtuber is to work with other people to gain subs (also known as networking)!
What's in it for you! :
I would like to find some channels similar to mine in size and content. The goal is:
Expand our networks
Make REAL friendships in the Youtube/minecraft community
Build our channels together, through shout-outs, boxing each others channels, and collaborations
And most importantly of all:provide entertaining content to the viewers!
Requirements: Minecrafter/youtuber with around 100-400 subs
Mature content and a mature caster (sorry, as I am 18, 12 y/o kids are not my peers :sad.gif: )
You are active (this means at least 1-2 uploads a week under normal circumstances)
What you need to do:
Just leave your channel in the comments below! I will look at each of them and if I think we have a similar focus or I like what I see I will contact you :smile.gif:
EDIT: You may leave general videos here as well!
I will begin to leave feedback (both the pros and cons) on your videos if you are just starting or under 100 subs!
Also, here's some 1.8 footage! :biggrin.gif:
Take a gander at it to get a feel for my channel's style. If you think we would get along, post 'em up! :laugh.gif:

The video
PROS:
Cool build! Viewers really enjoy stuff that's impressive/epic :smile.gif:
Once again, good commentary. Very entertaining.
Adventuring is always exciting for a vid, but don't do it EVERY ep lol :smile.gif: Just remember that haha.
CONS:
Random voices in the backgrounds. Try hard to edit those out, it seems unprofessional (even if it is youtube, you want to give your viewers the best)
Also try and edit out footage that people may find boring. Remember, you don't have to use 100% of the footage you record!
Overall:
It's an improvement of the last one I believe. It's certainly not worse if anything :smile.gif:
I would still definitely recommend you to those that are fans of yogscast :biggrin.gif:
