It would be awesome, hopefully Tmy thinks so as well. If not, oh well. You can still be a un-official group.
why did you write up the bio for them? D;
Sort of my idea and whatnot. My character would be more of the leader for them because of her past with the regulaters. Not only that but it was my idea o.o
There is indeed a lore to base them off of if you listen to the regulaters in Fo3, not only that but there are midwest chapters and even regulaters very far west. Also Tmy said he was not accepting more sub factions. not denying the regulaters because they regulate
Whatever I think I might write up my own bio for them anyways. I like to write

Character's signifying traits, include appearance as well: Quick to anger, not trusting, paranoid and secretive. Brown hair, green eyes, legion slave X burned onto his back. RP example (At LEAST a paragraph): As the legion camp falls under seige by NCR forces he crouches behind a pile of rubble hoping he will not be seen. After peeking his head above the rubble and seeing no legion or NCR soldiers he runs for the gate. As he runs he averts his eyes away from the blood and corpses that litter the ground. As he reaches the gates he turns around one last time to look upon the ruined camp knowing that for the first time in 14 years, he was free. Character biography (At LEAST 2 paragraphs): My name is John Pike, my life, since the day I was born was a living hell. I was born the child of a legion slave and raised as a slave myself until the legion camp where I was enslaved was attacked. When I was 14 years old the NCR attacked this camp and killed everyone inside, soldiers, officers and slaves. They left no survivors, except me. I hid when they attacked in fear of what may happen to me if I was found. After the battle I fled the camp and began to search for a new home. After searching for 3 years, I found what I was looking for. I came across a place called New Chicago, it was not long before I began hearing rumors of a two hundred year old owner of the city, but just like the myths of Mr. House I brushed them aside as nothing more than fairy tales. What I did beleive and dread in was the presence of the imperialistic NCR. I knew that I had come to yet another warzone, another land of suffering, So I vowed that I would manage one thing. I would survive.

It seems like a good app, and all.
But... Well you see, you didn't use our application, which i understand. I usually just repost my one character i build upon on every server i try. All i ask is you read the rules, and make your application fit our outline for it
Sure to get accepted.
Man, every time I want to get on the server today I end up getting disconnected due to a crash or lag right away or having to disconnect for some other reason, only to find it to be down when reconnecting a few minutes later. Today is not my day. :C

Well she said that the Regulators are in all corners of the various wastelands. You can tell them by their specific Duster coat. I.e. Lucas Simms, Lonesome Drifter.

Name of sub-faction: The Regulators of The Wastes
Ign: DeepDarkSamurai
Ign of 2 other members that will join: drjs2000 TheDevilsPoet
Why we should have your sub-faction on the server: You see there are those factions that police the big threats to the wasteland 'I.e Khans and such' then there is the NC police that seem to do things like drug busting and mainly police around NC. I propose the Regulators who actually find the evil in the wastes and do something about it. One man finds a krrok or petty thief and tells them not the steal or whatever and turns them into the Police.
Lore:
Years ago, one of the main east's known regulators and his brother began to head west to seek something, Wanderlust, personal grudge, who knows what drove these men to begin their quest. Eventually they found the town of Tombstone in south Arizona. A lawless town full of crooks and vagabonds. The gunslinger took it upon himself to bring peace to this sesspool of a city. The man and his brother worked tirelessly to run the drug dealers out of town and put the criminals behind bars. Eventually the gunslinger fell in love with the city and married a young woman who lived there.
The Gunslinger's wife gave birth to a baby girl, and his brother who had become distant and longed for their home in the east decided to leave in the night. Years passed. The Gunslinger and his new followers began to place strain on the Arizona desert's rein of crime and lawlessness. The Gunslinger began to grow old as he taught his daughter the art of the gun and execution of law in the desert. Eventually the man's brother had left a single encoded message for the Gunslinger. A word of help, Something that the east had return to its state of terror and that the regulators where needed again.
The Gunslinger packed his bags and said his goodbyes to the family he started. Stating that one day soon he shall return to Arizona, and those who where close to him. Return to the land he grew to love. His daughter who had spent many hours outside training with her father had grown close. She too decided to leave her home of Tombstone and travel north to the newest land of opportunity in these cruel lands. What she saw there appalled her, almost a state of terror the people where in. Constant war, Drug dealing, theft. She decided to take it upon herself and several of her friends to do what her father had taught her to do. Execute the law.
How it fits in with the server lore: Well as you may know. Regulators in history where people that enforced the law where the law had little reach. With the recent inclusion of the TalonComp. A feared people who where 'rivals' of the Regulators in much of the eastern wasteland. I feel that this could add a bit of the much wanted conflict back into the server and not allow the Rangers and their friends simply put an end to the Taloncomp over night. While no one can simply walk in and become a regulator. People are welcome to execute the law by themselves.
I Know you said 'no regulators because they would not have been able to get to Chicago very realisticly' but I think if you would listen to my story you will realize that it is quite possible. My character is indeed daughter of a regulator and her personality seems the kind that would want to continue her father's tradition of bringing law.
You might not accept it but thats fine I just wanted to make an app because I don't think they where given much chance with the previous app for them.
I told you to not even apply We have enough factions now, we don't want people getting spread to thin, especially with the NCR now coming back and the Enclave starting soon, and the growing need for people in the NCPF and Brotherhood. I told you that already. So no, denied. Its to close to Talon Co. anyways. I get they could have a rivalry, but this would just lead to one of you getting wiped out really quickly, and both you only putting your attention to each other. I said you could have a group, so just be happy with that

Many a man has heard the legends of the 'Windy City', Chicago. Once a bustling heart of trade and commerce, now it is that once again. After the war, Chicago, then decimated by the atomic war and fire, fell to pieces and for the next 200 years would remain that way until the Brotherhood of Steel would arrive. But the brotherhood would only serve as a vice and harness for the people of Chicago, along with the NCR beginning to make it's push of influence as far as Chicago. Both of these factions would soon turn hostile and would threaten to tear Chicago apart... that is until Mr. Nakamura showed up. He rallied the people of Chicago and drove both the NCR and the BoS out of the city with the help of his specially designed S.I.C.H. combat robots. Soon after Nakamura would reestablish the city as New Chicago and would turn it into a thriving metropolis unlike cities such as Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, or New Vegas. SWoon after the NCR and BoS would have another war and the NCR would be defeated, leaving more room for New Chicago to expand. They discovered Lake Michigan, a prison out on the lake that was acting as a fortified settlement, and even an Oil Rig, as well as finding the city of Detroit. Now it is time for you, the reader and wastelander to make your mark on the Chicago Wasteland. Good Luck.
IC Personal Records >Recieved< Name:Joseph Hoover Miles Gender:Male Age: 41 Class:Wastelander. Appearance:Tanned skin with jet-black hair but turning silver at the temples along with a silver gotee and piercing blue eyes. No eminent scars visible. Wears an old New California Republic (NCR) Officer's Uniform, though tattered and worn.
Bio. (Paragraph 1 of backstory): Joseph Hoover Miles was born to Nathan and Maria Miles. Nathan was a leutenant in the NCR army and Maria was of all things a scientist. As Joe grew up he was torn towards two different paths to take: Be a soldier like his father or a scientist like his mother (for most jobs will stay within the family). Nathan would sometimes take Joe to the army bases he was stationed at and taught him all about soldiering and even made Joe a sort of celebrity-to-be around the men. most of hose men believed that Joe would grow up to be like his father and would even go out of their way to bring the young boy into their group, teaching him to shoot and even unbenownst to his father, how to play poker. Hoe truly lived a life unlike any other his age, brought up entirely around the military. But his mother, knowing she couldn't stop her husband decided to try to make Joe a more civilised young man by teaching him to read and write and even at a young age Joe soared in education, no problem was too hard (except for math, for which Joe shared no love) for the young man and as he grew in size and brains he also began to show the promise of a leader, he did not have many friends, mostly the soldiers that served his father were his friends ans thats just the way he liked it. On Joe's 18th birthday he signed up in the NCR military . Joe, knowing a life in the military is what his mother, his father, and he wanted joined up and over the next 20 + years would serve and soar through the ranks before finally becoming a Colonel in the NCR army. Nathan would die of liver failure before Joe would take on his biggest responsibility; Commanding a whole veteran battlion called the Omega Battalion. This position had been pulled by one of Joe's old friends from back in his days as a private. After the first battle of Hoover Dam Joe's old friend would request that Joe's battalion, now nicknamed "The Damned" (after a heated battle with Enclave forces where they were outnumbered 3 to 1 and still managed to win) be reassigned to the Mojave Desert with the growing strength of Caesar's Legion nearing unbeatable size. General Oliver would assign Omega Battalion to protect the Hoover Dam during the second battle. Unfortunately when the battle seemed to start turning ugly many of "The Damned" would fall, leaving only about 30 men and Colonel Miles left to defend the growing ounslaught of Legionares. Outgunned and outnumbered "The Damned" would fight until only their commander remained, who fought like a wild deathclaw against the Legionares, who quickly overpowered him and knocked him out. Intent on taking him to Caesar or even worse, Legate Lanius. But before they could take Joe away the Legionares were ripped to pieces by three miniguns handled by Desert Rangers, who seeing the entire position compromised decided to abandon the dam with the unconcious Colonel in toe. Soon after the event with the Ranger Schism would occur and the Colonel, now recovering from the battle and the shock of his entire battalion being obliterated would have to flee for his life... But where? Now alone and scarred by war, the "Damned" man just would keep walking until passing out. There was nothing left to go back to for Co... for former Colonel Joe Miles except the open road and enemies all around. Caesar lied to the west, he couldn't go back to New Vegas or to the NCR after he had gone AWOL. After days he finally realized something, the one thing he shouldve thought since he marched his troops into this God awful place. There can be no life here, the desert swallows it all up. I must go were there is no desert, no NCR, and an overabundance of life. Joe rememberd hearing one of his soldiers, those poor lads, talking of a place that, like New Vegas, had thrived and grown without Mr. House, the NCR, the Legion, or any of the others. A new life was calling for him and as he sit on a bench outside an abandonded gas stop he tried to remember the name of that glorious paradise. Cheyenne? No. Cincinatti? No. Chi...Thats it. As he got up and started walking he knew exactly where he needed to go, he had remembered the just one of the many cities his mother had taught him, for she had always wanted him to know about the history of the Nation that they sat upon. There was only a hope but there might just be a chance that for once this acursed world had not swollowed up all of the hope. Whatever the case, his life now rested on one name, the most important place in the world now... Chicago.
RP Writing (Paragraph 2 of backstory): The man walked down the hall. Newly shined shoes clapped with the cracked porcelain tiles underfoot. Medals hung off of the mans uniform jacket many who passed him by whisper that any other man would fall over with the weight. The red and black patch of the NCR Omega Battalion, nicknamed "The Damned" was the only thing that was not clean and neat like the rest of the khaki uniform. Dirt, dust and a single blood stain made the patch stand out on the soldier wearing it. The only other thing that could steal someones attention was the mans face. A square jaw and deep blue eyes, with jet-black hair that was graying at the temples and a gotee almost completely silver. Yet even with this fact the silver in the mans hair gave more to experience than age, for he strutted almost as if marching alone like a new recruit out of boot camp back in California. This truly was a dirty place for the dust kicked up every time a breeze rolled in one of the open windows. The echo of the mans shoes and the clanking of the mans metals rung out loud and clear causing many to hush up and watch him pass by. Some soldiers saluted, to which he quickly returned the salute without losing beat in his step, some just stared, mostly wounded men from Hoover Dam or Mojave punks who didn't understand the supremacy of the soldier passing them by. A single officer stepped out of the door of the office the man was closing in on, this officer was nearly 10 years younger than the man aproaching him but he still sported nearly as many metals to match. "Welcome Colonel Miles, come inside. The General is waiting for you." The man stepped inside the office with a single step with the Officer right behind him who quickly shut the door behind them. The General was sitting behind a large wooden desk smoking a cigar when the two entered the room. "Thank you Colonel Tsu, that will be all." The officer saluted and left the room through the second door to the right of the desk leaving the two officers inspecting each other. The silence was at last broken by the exhale of General Oliver which sent a plume of smoke rising to the ceiling and at last the General stood up and instead of saluting offered his hand to the Colonel. "Colonel Joseph "Dam" Miles... You damn lucky joker. It was good of you to come." A smile stretched across General Oliver's face. "It's good to see you again Joe. But sit down. I have a proposition for you."
