I've completed the first version of my 5-floor call elevator. If at all possible, can I get this imported next to the cycling elevator in the sandy area next to the big maze? I want to test the timing settings on the server.
For those who want to download this, there is a limitation: once you're on the floor you've chosen, you can only call the elevator to take you back down to the first floor. A call elevator version that allows you to go to any floor from any floor is still being planned -- still banging my head against the wall on that one though.
Edit: there is another limitation in this version, but hopefully will be resolved in the next version: only one elevator call can be made at a time, since making more than 1 call at a time would damage the elevator. No need to worry about it, though, since once one of the call buttons are pressed, all of the call buttons are locked out until the cycle is complete.
Just a thought...if I get full floor-call functionality and a few more floors added in, this could be added to spawn to make it easier to move vertically...from the side of the cliff. Not in the middle as-is.
Thanks llama, thanks a LOT! Way to make me feel like an idiot QQ
lol, nice work dude. You are definitely the resident redstone pro.Lol maybe you can make llamas redstone creations like an app store on the server :tongue.gif: If someone wants one of his creations imported and placed in the world charge a fee and give llama the majority of that fee :smile.gif:
I'm working on new versions. One of them is just an update of this: making it thinner. I've got about half of the width bulk cut out already. I'm also making an 8-floor version of it.
The other versions allow floor-to-floor elevator calls, instead of just ground-floor-ground. That'll be done maybe next week.
Here's the base structures, before control circuits are added in. The one on the left is the original version, 1, and the one on the right will be used in versions 1.5 and 2.
why am i banned from the server my brother ferrisminer was the one that hacked not me so please just let me back on i had alot of stuff and i really worked hard for it please
Can we get a custom recipe for grass blocks? I like having some green in my subterranean areas, and waiting for it to grow downwards takes way too long.
Also, mega, are you currently in need of website designs?

Grass is easy enough to grow, so we probably won't add a recipe for it.
We are not responsible for item theft. If you're trading with someone and they happen to get away with your items, you're out of luck. Do not ask for us to restore anything stolen. Theft, like griefing, is not against the rules. It is your responsibility to keep your possessions safe.
While the trade center can provide basic safe trades, we realize that you can't properly identify enchanted items. We're aware of this issue and we have a fix in mind, but the fix requires certain Bukkit API's to be available which are not yet implemented. There's an alternative route we can take, but it requires quite a bit more coding and is not high on our priority list at the moment.
I finally finished the 5-floor version 1.5. I rebuilt it from scratch, and got it much narrower, though it's a couple blocks deeper. As it sits, I really can only see getting its depth shortened by 1 block...I was hitting all kinds of redstone limitations just getting it this "small".
I'm really noticing a lack of PvP logging now, i think people are afraid to, so great idea!
And talking to Verrier the other day, i suggested help for the people that PvP and rush to obsidian real quick because they know they are going to lose or something, but pretty much make it so that if they were just in combat, then obsidian blocks will take like 3-5 seconds to work for them, or it doesn't even have to be after combat just in general.

well they should be afraid...from what i can see it makes you explode if you log out after you have been hit even once...

Aye, not a bad idea. It could work much like WoW's PVP flag on PVE servers, where it takes ~5 minutes for PVP to wear off in a non-PVP zone.

Yes, I am. But only if they're top notch!

We're working on a way that'll let you upload schematics within a certain size to import into the cleanroom. More on that soon!

It depends on how quickly you log out after combat.
