Hello. I own the website gleecraft and am in desperate need of a INSTANT dedicated server for a indefinite time (i'll stay as long as the machine works fine. if you dont make sure to fix the dedicated machine's issues then i'll leave within the week) I have used peakhosting, envioushost, and so much more. I know all about minecraft and plugin managing so i wont ask you.
I need something above 30 gigs of ram. maybe 64? We dont need it too much.
I need ALOT of CPU speed. my main server is essential to us but carries years of plot data. Main server alone uses
CPU Usage: 33%
RAM Usage: 52%
6959/13312MB
with 50 players. (we normally get 100+ but the server moves has lowered our amount)
That server had
Processor 15 GHZ
RAM 15 GB
The other servers,
Prison, skyblock, Hungergames, and warzone factions wont use up much ram. (hungergames might,)
All i ask is a server with lots of cpu power, a good amount of ram (maybe 40-50 gb) and FAST!
I need to get it ready before friday!!! Summer is where we get more players. Please make sure to install multicraft and have 9 or 7 IPs ready
We've got 32GB dedicated servers, up to 72GB. Our 32 GBs ($150) are OK, with 27.2 GHz thread processing speed, solid states are optional. But for just $60 more, the 72GB servers pack massive 36.16 GHz of thread processing speed in with solid state drives for an enormous speed boost. We've also got a 64GB in between, so it all depends on your budget.
Sound like something worth checking out? Check out our website or check out our MCF posting for more details. I'd be happy to talk with you on Live Chat on our website if you're curious.
Hello there,
We run server grade hardware which is all company owned, we also run our own network.
In Seattle WA, we can get you setup right away after you order we have a few E3-1270v2 nodes there with 32GB of ram and 128gb ssd.
Our price for this is $205 per month, if you need 7-9 IP's it will be a little bit more $5-10.
Our servers are self managed meaning we don't provide support for things on your box itself, however we can help you get some basic things installed for a low setup fee.
Any network or hardware issues we do support.

Your thread processing spew is total crap, even if you do achieve 36.16ghz in total computation it wouldn't matter. Why? Because Minecraft isn't PROPERLY multi-threaded. There are only 3 threads (could be 4 now, honestly not sure if its 3 or 4) that are usable by minecraft in general. Ergo, having 237409247029472094720497 threads open is useless for 1 server.
This being said, Hosts should provide RAW CPU information rather than making it sound like they have some sort of Cray Titan. If you dont know what that is... you shouldn't be in the hosting business.
Hi please have a look at our dedicated servers, it should be perfect for you! For $200/month you can get the following specifications:
Intel Xeon E3-1270v2 up to 3.9Ghz - This is one of the most powerful CPU's when looking at a single core which is perfect for minecraft server - Heres the CPU details
32GB DDR3-ECC Ram
2x 120GB Enterprise SSD's (240GB available as well or 1TB SATA's)
RAID 1 (mirrors data on both drives to keep it safe)
Eternity hosting sells 1 GB dedicated servers for 8 dollars at the moment. ($8 per GB) In addition to buying RAM If you so choose you can purchase dedicated cores to go along with your allocated RAM to ensure NO lag at all.
If any of this interests you check us out here.

Hi, sorry you feel that way. I responded in thread processing speed, because it is clear that is what he is measuring against: he claims to have had 15 GHz power on his previous node, but the fastest CPU clock achieved was around 8.5 GHz running a Bulldozer on liquid nitrogen. I think I can safely assume that no host uses that kind of cooling, even if they do use AMD (haven't seen on). If you'd like more information about our specs, come talk to us on live chat.
Also, this is the whole node we're talking about, not one single sever. Hence, having more threads is good, because different servers can run on different threads. In addition, the latest versions of CraftBukkit have begun to thread some of their processing, and many plugins (which is what takes up a fair amount of the processing power on most servers) have at least some amount of threading; most of the popular ones are.
Have a good day!
Connor @ Host-Seed
P.S.: I do know what the Cray Titan is. I happen to have used a GTX Titan in one of my recent builds, it's an incredible card!

I understand what you were trying to do, but it was improper. Rather than trying to take advantage of someones lack of understanding about hosting. You should have corrected him, yes I understand some people may not like the answer but in the long run it will make you as a company appear much more respectable and over all will make you seem more knowledgeable. Also, not clarifying to someone about what they will obtain on their server is shady and makes you look bad. In the original post you should have listed "our server node's thread processing is x.xghz" if you wanted to be truthful. Otherwise your just making it seem like you have a super computer (which is what Cray Titan is). Like I said, know more about your area of business. I mean you obviously know about some hardware but have no clear morality to your methods of advertisement.

What they said was in no way improper, nor what I said. Core processing speed is a valid means of measurement, if less used that overall CPU speed (though personally I dislike using speed as a means of measurement at all; Bulldozer is the prime example of why it is not necessarily a good comparison). Therefore, because it was not flawed, I saw no reason to correct him, and simply responded in like.
Like I said, know more about your area of business.
Is building the nodes not enough knowledge? I fail to see any of your questions that I've not answered to a sufficient depth which would cause to to think that.
If you've further questions, let's please take this into PM.

I did just that, as a matter of fact:

Re-read your original post, you did not do that. You said
I think it was quite clear when I said that this should be taken to PM if you have further questions; request topics are not debate sessions. Rightly you should have posted in PM from the get-go, rather than spamming up the topic with insidious posting and accusations requiring our defense.

A good business shouldn't need to defend themselves over bad morals and inaccurate information. I merely pointed out to the requesting party that you were giving wrong and overall irrelevant information about your service.
Check out VudooHosting.
I am not a representative so I do not want to throw out any numbers or stats, but they have high quality stuff for low costs. Head on over to their website and click on "Game Servers" then "Dedicated Minecraft Servers" and then take a look.
Feel free to ask me any questions or feel free to connect to their live chat right now. I am sure they would be more than willing to help you out.
I am a very satisfied client. 24/7 server, 24/7 support, lag free, hastle free, etc.
At least check their stats. You won't regret it. It's right in your price range and what you need.
join my Discord: voice.ntgclan.com and DM me on Discord if you want a 1 on 1Hosting experience. i can do up to 1 month free and form there we can still keep our prices lower than any one. and support is unparalleled as ull have less clients to compete with for the 1 on 1 voice support experience u deserve. we specialise in modpacks. but are willing to host any setup u need for any game/service.
