I thought I'd go ahead and submit my own little review on Xenon Servers.
It all started back in 2009, i've been playing Garry's Mod for quite sometime and i've gotten interested in getting my own server as i've administered servers since Gmod came out but i've never actually had my own. The one community I was with for many years used Xenon Servers to host theirs, and they never had any problems with it. So I decided to go ahead and finally get my own in July 2009, and i've had no problem since. I'm very cautious online and didn't know where to put my trust and money into.
A year after (2010), I noticed an announcement on the Xenon Servers website stating that they will be getting Minecraft servers soon. It was such a new and popular game that I just had to grab it, I was worried the price would increase (which it didn't). I went ahead and grabbed one. It's honestly the best thing i've done, the Admin Control Panel is very easy to use. They have a Mods installer which is updated frequently with the latest Bukkit Dev, Beta and Recommended builds. Just click which mod you want installed and it will do it for you automatically. If you'd rather do it on your own, you can with full FTP access to your server. You can even create user accounts for people you trust to control your server, you can give them a set of permissions, do you want said person to have FTP access, Mods installer access or just be able to stop and restart the server. You can do all of them and more, which i've forgotten.
Any problems I had with my server they fixed immediately. They have a very fast and friendly support system.
Well this is coming from a long time customer, 3+ years and haven't thought about leaving. Still have my Gmod server and MC server, i'm even thinking of getting a second MC server for my community.
I've looked at other hosters but they all seemed too expensive and I don't know how well their support system is. I don't like waiting days for a response, Xenon gives me a response in minutes.
I did say i'd write a small review but I wanted to share my personal experience with this company.
Personally, I did not have the best of times at Xenon Servers.
Finally quit with them when my webhost with them was hacked, and they locked me out of my cpanel for weeks. Never did get fixed, and I had to move to a new webhost, and rebuild the entire website.

I'm very sorry about what happened to your site. We were going through backups trying to find one that wasn't defaced so that we could restore it for you. Unfortunately this took a while as the web hosting management is handled by an outside firm that doesn't consist of our support staff. This is a decision made by our old management and we will be taking the web hosting solutions in-house as soon as we can.
Also ran a gmod box with them. Here's the sum of how I felt about it in other people's words.

I guarantee that all of these people had accounts with us in the mid-to-late 2011 era, when our old management was still in place. (In fact I remember working with Protocol7, under a different manager). I've been at the helm of the company since around April of this year and with the changes I've instituted we've had literally only a couple accusations of "overloading", which were not actually caused by a server load issue. (If you'd like me to get into it, these issues were primarily caused by an incorrectly-configured firewall, incorrect load balancing, and outdated hardware. I've replaced the firewall, re-distributed the load, and now put all new accounts on our E3-based systems.)
I'm really interested in making this up to you if you'll still give us a chance. Feel free to PM me and I will see what I can do for you. I want to show you that we're not who we used to be.

That's understandable.
You likely still dealt with the old staff apart from your recent web hosting issue (which as I explained was an edge case due to the circumstances). I'm proud of my current small but dedicated team, and would prefer them over any other team I've worked with.
Either way, what's done is done. I'll hope that you'll give us another try in the future. Happy holidays!

The only affiliation I have with "John" here is not via Xenon. I worked Live Chat with one other person, and that person happens to own a different Minecraft server host.
Has Xenon changed? I don't know. I'd just like to inform everyone that John here is not telling the truth in at least one manner, and potentially more. Be careful.

I didn't work as a Live Chat tech, I worked as a systems admin. All of my work was done via tickets. You were indeed working at the same time as I.
Does not mean I worked with you. On other projects, yes, we have worked together, but never with Xenon.
Ah I see - it's just a confusion of semantics. I did not work "beside" you (same positions, daily communication, etc), but I did work under the same manager. I'm sure we can both agree that mistakes were made and that is what I have worked hard to fix.
I really do enjoy this host, one thing I really love is the support! One thing I recommend: Minecraft in game help. If someone needs help with a plugin or a glitch.
The performance is okay. My server lags after 2 hours of a reboot. No matter how many people are online
I really like the MultiCraft CP.
Although I may be switching soon for a higher performance server, I HIGHLY recommend this host for your server!

P.S. John and Kevin are my lovers.
Thanks!
Indeed, you've got quite a unique resource requirement. How has your upgrade been doing?
Why did gforce servers merge with u. I was going to go with them
We were both owned by the same company, GForce mostly hosted Minecraft servers whilst we mostly hosted gmod servers etc so it was a perfect fit, our Minecraft servers are still the exact same as GForce.
To be perfectly honest, I've had zero (0) problems with this host the entire time I've used them. I've used them for Gmod, Minecraft and others. Their prices are actually really good for what they offer. Their servers are really high performance in my opinion and some of the best around. In addition, their current support team is 100% better than what they had before. This is one of my favorite server hosts and highly recommended.

Appreciate the service.

You also seriously need to get a new support team.

They are a good host and have solved every problem I have had with my servers.
+1 Recommend them!

So far, pretty good all in all. But it does lag after a few hours. It doesn't take much to set the server off.
But I have noticed improvements
13 TPS. 9 people online
