Cubedhost has served Minecraft servers for more than a year, and has grown tremendously. CubedHost is very trustworthy and cheap, and have almost no lag/downtime. Cubedhost should be your No. 1 choice for hosting.
I switched over to CubedHost, from my existing host I was using. CubedHost is great! I am creating a server network of minigames, will be using you guys for all future servers of the network! I and my staff of Play.LaserMinecraft.com, give CubedHost a thumbs up Cheap and amazing hosting, you guys are awesome. I have lots of freedom with CubedHost to freely configure what I want.
My question is with the .25gb server. The ip is not dedicated, i am not a computer person. Does that mean its not private or does it constantly change?
This seems like a great server hosting program, but i have 1 problem. When I ordered my server, I clicked customize, and clicked order.
Well, its been giving me a little loading window, and its been going on for about 30 mins. Did I do something wrong? Can someone please tell me what I did wrong?

This means you server is using an IP address that's shared with other servers, and is made a unique address by using a non-default port address.

Hey Cubedhost, I would like to download my saved file for a single player save. But it takes forever to download even via FileZilla. Is there a way to download it easier?
Sorry cubed host I think you were awful as a host NO FTB/ MODDED SERVERS I got the server a few mouths ago
uh there is ftb and modded servers, read the other posts. or am incorrect? can someone tell me more information about cubed host's ftb and mod features?

i would like to hear both sides of the argument. most of the reviews are great, and no offense, but for all i know you could be a rival server seller, or working for them. (not saying you are, just pointing out i can't be sure if you are telling the truth, because i have no magic powers to tell me ) this is perhaps that best rated server (by most people!) the claims to be ftb and i want to hear more then one persons opinion of ftb on cubedhost. i am not trying to be offensive but i can;t find many good ftb serer hosts. and i can't get a good connection on my computer!)

I'm having the same problem. I cant get our server to run FTB and when we opened a ticket their response wasn't very relevant and came days later. If someone could help with how to get it to work that would be great. If cubedhost could add a more recent tutorial video about this that would probably help a lot of people.
I've got two 1 GB servers with CubedHost. I've been a satisfied customer of CubedHost since September 2012, finding out about it from Vareide's videos. Back then, I was mainly attracted to them by their low prices (and maybe the fact that Vareide used them for his videos ). They might no longer be among the cheapest hosts now, but they do offer custom jars (which I took for granted until I looked at some other hosts), dedicated IPs and outstanding support.
Speaking of their support, here are some numbers: Fastest ticket response time: 8 minutes Slowest ticket response time: 9 hours 22 minutes (note: ticket was marked as "low priority" by me since it wasn't important. Slowest response time with a normal priority ticket is 4 hours 40 minutes) Average ticket response time: ~3 hours
Ticket response time does depend on the time it was submitted. Tickets I submitted in the evening (European) received a reply fairly fast while those I sent in the morning took longer to get a reply (I guess most of their support staff is American as well?).
I really love the free web hosting package included with 1GB+ plans. Any somewhat large server should IMO have a website (or a forum, preferably) and the free package suffices for that. They also offer fairly cheap upgrades for the web hosting ($4.95 for 50 GB space, 500 GB bandwidth is the cheapest one).
I run a server with 1 GB RAM, 5 worlds loaded all the time, 28 plugins (most of them aren't really resource intensive though). The server has been full (32 slots) and the server hasn't lagged a single bit. Their servers are also fairly good for Feed the Beast – I run a direwolf20 pack server and although I haven't seen it full, it hasn't lagged yet :3 (edit: it actually did once but that was because a certain player completely overloaded the world somehow... a world restore from my own backup - I keep forgetting they make backups of our server too - and everything was okay).
Some other awesome stuff about them:
Free MySQL database
Very outstanding uptime
Instant setup (truly instant )
TL;DR: Go get a server with CubedHost now. Like, right now. You won't regret it.
Edit ...again: I've had no issues setting up an FTB server, either using the Jar selection in Multicraft or uploading the mod pack's files via Filezilla.
Thanks for the well-written and thorough review, MrEinStain.

We do in fact support all FTB packs and many server mods. We offer a one-click install option for the standard FTB pack, however, you can manually install any others via FTP. We even have a video tutorial, though it is a bit outdated.
Me and a few friends are interested in purchasing one of your servers and I was wondering would 512Mb run smoothly with 5 or so max people on? And also I was wondering with non dedicated ip, does that mean that the server will be slower because it's on the same ip as other servers but on a different port?
512MB should be sufficient for only 5 people, granted you're running vanilla MC or Bukkit with a small number of plugins. As for the dedicated IP, that simply means you'll receive a shared IP address with a non-standard port (not 25565)This will not effect your server's performance.

Really? In a pre-sale ticket I asked if I could hold 20 slots, ~14 plugins, 1 world(excluding nether/end) on 1 GB RAM and they told me I should go for 1.5-2GB.
I have a server and I may need some help with an issue I've been dealing with. I have 1.5gb of RAM and it fills up rather quickly and I have to do frequent restarts on it.
I normally only have 6 people on the server.
Nothing is really resource intensive, as TNT and anything that causes lag is not allowed.
My question is:
Is there a way to have the server restart once empty/ once RAM is at 100%?
Should I just upgrade?
Is there a way to find out how much RAM specific plugins are using.

Had nothing but problems with this server host, while trying to host a simple vanilla server. Not worth your money. I was with them for 3 months on a 1gig server.
Feel free to PM me regarding my experience with CubedHost, and I'll be glad to answer any questions you have.
