Not just Minecraft, the forums isn't just Minecraft don't you know
In the last couple of weeks, I have been hopping around the forums, upper forums, OT, forum games, even support. I've learnt there are a lot of different kinds of people around here and Minecraft isn't the only thing the forum talks about.. I've got to know a few people really well too and make some new friends.
I understand that, but the minecraft forum is based on minecraft and when I and others help people, it's usually help with something minecraft related.

Valid point, I do agree most support related threads are about Minecraft. But it's still not only about Minecraft.
Originally the forums was created to discuss Minecraft (AFAIK), but over the years I have been here. I've seen it grow from just a small Minecraft discussion forum to a massive community of gamers and people who just like to hang out. You would be surprised at how many people here, don't even play Minecraft yet still use the forums.
It's because it's a great big community of people with something for everyone.
This is a valid point, someone who has tons of moderating expirence could apply for mod and make an app that isn't so good and they aren't active in the community. While someone who has no moderating expirence could make an outstanding app and is very active on the community will have a higher chance of getting mod. Expirence doesn't necessarily matter in this case

The actual reasoning behind my statement is two things
1) The person with more experience may or may not be as active as someone with less
2) The person with more experience may or may not assume that because of their experience, they automatically assume they know best, thus creating mistakes and more issues than necessary.
Again, these are both "may or may nots". It doesn't make it a good or bad factor to me, it's just not important.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was just pointing out that just becuse you have expirence, does not mean your better then everyone else
Could a newly spawned person, who has the highest quality of posts, who is really friendly and mature get considered? Or would you say minimum posts would be about 200?

Is there any place I can see how many reports I have sent? I'm just curious to see how many, I spent most of today asking mods to move threads here and there :3
There's no minimum post count requirement. Though you'd find it to be unlikely to get hired with, say, 20 posts, unless they are all absolutely stunning and helpful.
You can know all about minecraft support without actually playing minecraft.
I am here for you, Don't be afraid to send me a message.

Experience isn't the most important factor.

I believe the lowest ever hired was 31 posts.
I hope I get at least accepted or considered *fingers cross*
Best of luck, pal.
