So I found 16GB of DDR3 ECC RAM on craigslist (1 Stick) for $30. I was wondering how much it is worth, since I have no use for ECC RAM, and Im pretty sure thats a steal. How much is it worth? Im considering just flipping it on eBay or something.
First of all.. Does your motherboard even support 1x16??
Also of course its a steal.... 8 gb ram is like 50$ having double the amount of half the price of course its a steal, also 1x16 gbs of ram is like 100+ so yeah great deal, might not work tho
Make sure it isn't fried. I wouldn't trust ECC RAM from Joe Blow. A 16GB registered DIMM is much more valuable than $30, and anybody who knows what ECC RAM is knows that.
i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.

Yeah, of course ill check it out, and its registered. How much would you value it at?
I wouldnt trust it its probably dead or the guy is a complete fool and has no idea what he has the latter being the less likely of the 2
He's in the Memphis tn area, so there's a good chance he doesn't have a clue haha. Apparently he can't return it because the date passed. I know I might be taking a risk, but what do you think I could sell it for?

Here's a completed listing from eBay. If it works you can expect anywhere from $100 to $150 depending on other listings at the time of sale and the buyer.
